Mark Beevers has surely just saved Bolton's lead here.

Tom Nichols works his way into the Trotters' penalty box, but just as he's about to get a shot away from eight yards out, Beevers dives in bravely to steal the ball away.

Brilliant challenge from the centre-back, but worrying signs for the hosts all the same.

Wow. Two goals in a minute at the Memorial Stadium.

First Jermaine Easter put Bristol Rovers back into it, benefiting from a bizarre deflected shot onto the woodwork to smash it and halve Millwall's lead.

But, not to be outdone, the Lions went straight up the other end and restored their two-goal advantage, courtesy of a unconventional chested finish from Lee Gregory for his second of the game.

Caretaker Vale boss Michael Brown, who needs a win to keep his side in the division, looks a worried man on the sideline.

    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Millwall

Southend may be on the board, but as things stand it won't matter. Millwall, who came into the game on the back of two defeats, have absolutely flown out of the blocks at the Memorial Stadium.

Goals from Lee Gregory and Tony Craig have put them in pole position to seal the seventh place. Bristol Rovers have the fourth-best home form in League One, having lost just three times at home this season, but they will need to muster a serious comeback now to alter the play-off situation.

So, can Fleetwood respond and put the pressure back on Bolton?

They win a free-kick close to the edge of the Port Vale box, but Bobby Grant's effort is too close to the Vale keeper.

Great finish from Stephen McLaughlin! The Southend winger fires a wonderful half-volley into the Bury net from 10 yards out to put the home side in front with his eighth of the season.

Elsewhere, league leaders Sheffield United have taken the lead at home to Chesterfield, thanks to Kieron Freeman, who reacted fastest to put the ball in after a scramble involving Billy Sharp.

Millwall are intent on making absolutely sure of their play-off place. Tony Craig taps in after Steve Morison flicked Shane Ferguson corner goalwards. The captain may have been offside but the Lions don't care and are now 2-0 up against Bristol Rovers.

Oxford are also enjoying themselves, and are 2-0 up against Shrewsbury.

Millwall have made such a start at Bristol Rovers with Lee Gregory grabbing his 16th goal of the season in a goal-mouth scramble moments after winger Shane Ferguson stung the palms of goalkeeper Joe Lumley.

Southend nearly joined them on 1-0, butRyan Leonard crashed his shot from outside the box onto the post.

An early goal would have got the nerves going in the Bury ranks, but it wasn't to be.

Fellow play-off hopefuls Rochdale are still being held 0-0 by a much-changed Bradford.
