As the second half begins in the National League, it’ll be Aldershot taking the final play-off place, with Braintree and York going down.

But hang on! Big Jon Parkin has just scored with a lovely little backheel to put York back on level terms.

As it stands, City would be safe...

Tony Pulis does have a habit of taking his foot off the gas once his sides are safe in the top flight though. Could that help Leicester out this afternoon?

    Outstanding.

To be sitting in that position in the Premier League with the resources, funds and style, it has been a really successful year for West Brom.

Callum McGregor has just steered in Celtic's third at Ibrox. The gulf between the two Scottish giants is as large as I can ever recall.

We are asking for your suggestions for statues at your club...

Arsenal fan- for a statue I suggest a 'leaning Tower of Wenger' over a big line. Each side of the line will have the words In and Out written in bold letters. The statue oscillates to either side of the line due to wind. (Imagine the sight of it on really windy days...) Sums up how fickle our fans are.

Swansea City legend Lee Trundle came out of retirement in August to sign for Welsh Football League Division Two side Llanelli Town.

Since then the 40-year-old - who also played for Wrexham and Bristol City - has scored 45 goals in 26 games, including eight hat-tricks, and has helped Llanelli win promotion.

Thanks for all your suggestions so far today - keep them coming!

We've had quite a few disgruntled fans, no more so than Andrew. (We suspect he isn't a Man City fan though...)

Andrew Kemp: Statue at the Etihad. Easy. Half the team rolling on the floor waving at the ref. Kompany & Toure exempt, what a load of actors.

John Bills: As a Blackburn fan, maybe a statue to a fallen idol would be apt. Icarus? Lance Armstrong?

Sunderland haven't been anywhere near good enough defensively this season and that's a huge reason why they are in the position they are in.

    Sunderland v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Sunderland manager David Moyes: "While we still have a chance we will keep fighting. We want a winning momentum and we want to rediscover that winning feeling.

"A long-term plan is definitely needed for this football club. Unfortunately, a lot of people want to talk about it but they don't actually want to see that this is the way it has to happen.

"But we will put it in place. There are a lot of things done behind the scenes we are trying to improve on."

Sunderland are doomed. They could go down this weekend if results go against them, but it is just a matter of time until their relegation is confirmed.

The question now is 'what happens next?' and a lot of that will be down to the club's owner Ellis Short.
