There was only ever going to be one man on the front of the Manchester City programme tonight...

It marks the final home game that tough-tackling fans favourite Pablo Zabaleta will play for the club before finishing his nine-year stint with City at the end of the season.

As City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak writes inside, "Pablo is, and always will be, considered "The Man" and an honorary "Manc" by our supporters.

"Pablo loves this club and it will be an emotional night, I am sure," adds manager Pep Guardiola in his notes. "He will be missed by everyone."

  4. Head-to-headpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 16 May 2017

    Arsenal v Sunderland (19:45 BST)

    • Sunderland have never won at Arsenal in the Premier League (D5, L10). Their last league victory away to the Gunners was in November 1983.
    • Arsenal are unbeaten in 14 league meetings home and away and have only lost one of the last 26 top-flight encounters (W16, D9).

  5. Running down the gamespublished at 18:51 British Summer Time 16 May 2017

    Arsenal v Sunderland (19:45 BST)

I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing Sunderland fans are ready for the season to end now?

Their relegation was confirmed last month and although they picked up three points against Hull City the following week, they were brought down to earth with a bump on Saturday against Swansea.

However, a win tonight at The Emirates will earn the Black Cats back-to-back Premier League away victories for the first time since April 2014.

Although their record their isn't great...

  6. 'Sanchez was his usual bubbly self'published at 18:49 British Summer Time 16 May 2017

    Arsenal v Sunderland (19:45 BST)

Stoke City's Charlie Adam was an unused sub in their 4-1 defeat by Arsenal on Saturday. He spoke to BBC Radio 5 live on Monday:

"Sanchez and Ozil didn’t look like as if want to leave. Sanchez was his usual bubbly self, always willing to run and Ozil is a wonderful player

"The three at the back looked very comfortable.

"I still think the cloud over Arsenal is whether Arsene Wenger will stay. They need clarification on what will actually happen."

  10. Permutations for European placespublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 16 May 2017

Arsenal v Sunderland (19:45 BST); Manchester City v West Brom (20:00 BST)

These are the ifs and buts that you need to know about tonight's games and the race for the top four.

    Pay attention, class. It's complicated.

    • Manchester City will qualify for the Champions League if they win AND Arsenal fail to win, or if they draw AND Arsenal lose.
    • Liverpool will also qualify for the Champions League, without kicking a ball, if Arsenal lose.
    • Arsenal’s Champions League hopes will end if they lose AND Man City avoid defeat.
    • Manchester United’s only Champions League hope rests with winning the Europa League.
