Forest Green are taking their time with things, as you'd expect, but defender Dale Bennett goes into the book for time wasting at a throw in.

Forest Green are sitting back and seemingly inviting pressure at the moment, but Tranmere can't take advantage as Lois Maynard chips forward to James Norwood, but his first touch is heavy and goes into the hands of the keeper.

Tranmere midfielder Jeff Hughes has a pop of his own this time, but from around 30 yards out strikes wide of the mark.

It's been all Tranmere, but they surely needed to score in their dominant spell at the start of this half.

The longer Forest Green's two-goal lead remains intact, the more the hope will slowly start to dry up in the noisy Tranmere end.

That could have been a hat-trick for Kaiyne Woolery, but Adam Buxton managed to get back to tackle the Forest Green man, after he had got in behind from a long ball.

This game is being played at a silly pace.

Forest Green midfielder Charlie Cooper is the next man that goes into the book, after lunging in late on Adam Buxton.

Jack Dunn's delivery from the resulting free-kick is straight into the hands of the keeper.

Tranmere have been pretty dominant in this second half so far. Forest Green boss Mark Cooper will be hoping a change to a less attacking side will pay dividends.

But winger Keanu Marsh-Brown didn't look terribly happy to be coming off...

First yellow card of the game goes to Tranmere right-back Adam Buxton, for an obvious foul. Liam Noble has a free-kick in a dangerous position once more, but his short pass into Christian Doidge is cut out.

Daniel Wishart makes an instant impact as he breaks forward through three Tranmere defenders, before laying off Liam Noble, whose strike on the edge of the area is just wide of the post.

Tranmere want to turn the screw here. Micky Mellon brings on top scorer Andy Cook for goalscorer Connor Jennings to go more attacking.

Meanwhile, Forest Green want to go more defensive, bringing off Keanu Marsh-Brown for Daniel Wishart.

Jack Dunn has looked really lively since coming on for Tranmere, and his cross is just headed wide by Cole Stockton.

A bit of a break in play now as Forest Green defender Dale Bennett is down receiving treatment. Time to catch our breath from a match which has been played at 100mph.

Jack Dunn comes so close to a Tranmere equaliser and it would have been another worldie. He takes aim from around 35 yards out, but it is deflected just wide, with the goalkeeper rooted to his spot.

That would have fit in well with the other goals in this game.

Oh my goodness - that was a ridiculous passage of play.

The ball is passed back to Forest Green goalkeeper Sam Russell under pressure, who does well with his feet to take it around one Tranmere forward, tries to do another but loses the ball, however Cole Stockton loops the ball over the bar.

Russell put himself under pressure for no reason there. He should have just belted it clear.

First change of the afternoon for Tranmere and it's former Forest Green man Andy Mangan who is coming off for Jack Dunn.

Cole Stockton is not a happy bunny.

He tries to get on the end of a ball forward but bundles over Forest Green defender Emmaunel Monthe, but Stockton harrangs the referee for giving a free-kick.

Tranmere win a corner, which is curled in by Jeff Hughes towards Cole Stockton.

Stockton heads down towards goal, but keeper Sam Russell is equal to it, and Andy Mangan can't connect with the rebound.

Let off for Forest Green.

Confidence is clearly high in the Forest Green team. Emmanuel Monthe strides forward out of defence and tries a rather speculative effort at goal.

It trickles wide of the mark.
