  2. Venezuela's hotel brawlpublished at 10:54 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

Things may well get a bit feisty in South Korea today.

Not long after reaching the final, Venezuela players were involved in a reported brawl with members of the Uruguay team, the side they beat in the semi-finals.

The two sides had met on Thursday with Venezuela beatingUruguay on penalties after a hotly-contested 1-1 draw that featured nine yellow cards.

When the players crossed paths at the Suwon Ramada Hotel on Saturday, insults were exchanged before the dispute turned into a brawl involving several players on each side, according to eye witnesses statements reported by AFP.

AFP says around 20 South Korean police officers were called to break up the fight, that happened around 9pm on Saturday.

"We regret that this happened. Fifa has always been in favour of fair play on or off the pitch," a Fifa spokesman said, confirming the incident.

BBC Sport South American football expert

Yangel Herrera (New York City, on loan from Manchester City, midfielder)

The team's captain and central midfield heartbeat picked up from Atletico Venezuela by Manchester City in January and loaned to the US. Classy, fiery - sometimes too fiery - and box to box.

Passes quickly, links up with attack, can shoot effectively from outside the area and is also a danger in the air - a bit like an old-fashioned British midfield dynamo.

Adalberto Penaranda (Malaga, on loan from Watford, attacking midfielder)

Technically owned by Watford, but has bounced around linked clubs (Udinese, Granada and more lately Malaga) since arriving in Europe two years ago. Did not play in the qualifying tournament, though he did appear in the previous version in 2015.

An attacking midfielder who can work either flank, he is filling out physically and offers considerable thrust in the final third.

    Yeferson Soteldo (Huachipato, midfielder)

Moved to Chile early this year after starring in the qualifying tournament, and has since been linked with Buenos Aires giants River Plate. Has not been at his best in this competition, and the inclusion of Penaranda has forced him to drop to the bench.

But he remains a very interesting option. Tiny figure who dribbles with the ball tied to his foot. His decision making can be infuriating, but as a fluid runner against tiring defences, he is a potential match winner.

  5. The key players for the oppositionpublished at 10:47 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

    Venezuela U20 v England U20 (11:00 BST)

    Tim Vickery
BBC Sport South American football expert

    Wuilker Farinez (Caracas, goalkeeper)

Venezuela have been aware for a while that they have a potential top-class keeper on their hands - Farinez was taken to the 2015 Copa America at the age of 17, and was first choice in the World Cup qualifiers at the end of March.

On the small side for the position, he is wonderfully agile and full of confidence. The man England have to beat to lift the trophy, but it will not be easy - even from 12 yards if it goes to penalties.

Williams Velasquez (Estudiantes de Caracas, defender)

Centre-back who missed the semi-final through suspension, but will surely return for the decider. Good in the air, quick on the ground, two footed and consistently impressive, he has been a defensive rock and will have filled scouts' notebooks.

  8. Meet the Young Lions - forwardspublished at 10:41 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

Dominic Solanke is England's top goalscorer in South Korea with four goals and Liverpool fans will be very interested to see him in action as he will move from Chelsea to Jurgen Klopp's side on 1 July in a £3m deal.

Everton's Ademola Lookman has scored three times in this tournament, including both goals in a 2-1 win over Costa Rica in the last 16. Another Toffee, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, has featured in every England match and scored their first goal of the tournament in a 3-0 win over Argentina.

Other options for England include Newcastle forward Adam Armstrong, a player who made his Premier League debut at the age of 17 and was named in the League One team of the year in 2015-16 after scoring 20 goals while on loan at Coventry.

Middlesbrough's Harrison Chapman scored a hat-trick during a loan spell at Sheffield United last season, but is yet to make his senior debut for Boro and has found his game time restricted to two substitute appearances in South Korea.

  9. Meet the Young Lions - midfielderspublished at 10:40 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

England's midfield options include Bournemouth's Lewis Cook, who joined the Cherries for £7m in July 2016 after making 80 senior appearances for Leeds.

Kieran Dowell (pictured), one of five Everton players in the squad, is an ever-present in this competition and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over hosts South Korea in the group phase.

Josh Onomah and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have both played in Champions League matches for Tottenham and Arsenal respectively, while Sheyi Ojo and Ovie Ejaria both represented Liverpool in competitive games in 2016-17.

  10. Meet the Young Lions - defenderspublished at 10:37 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

Right-back Jonjoe Kenny, who has made two substitute Premier League appearances for Everton, has played every minute of England's six games, as has Chelsea centre-half Fikayo Tomori (pictured), a player who helped Brighton win promotion to the top-flight during a four-month loan spell in 2016-17.

Jack Clarke-Salter is also on Chelsea's books, with Callum Connolly a team-mate of Kenny at Goodison Park. Ezri Konsa is the only man in the England squad signed permanently to a League One club as he is a key member of the Charlton Athletic team, while other defenders include Tottenham's Kyle Walker-Peters and Middlesbrough's Dael Fry.

  11. Meet the Young Lions - goalkeeperspublished at 10:33 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

Freddie Woodman (pictured), who has played in five of the six England games in this tournament, is on the books of Newcastle but has not made a senior appearance for them, but has had loan spells at Crawley and Kilmarnock.

Dean Henderson played in the 1-1 draw against Guinea, a game where he was beaten by a farcical 50-yard own goal by team-mate Fikayo Tomori. Henderson is with Manchester United and played seven times in League Two last season for Grimsby.

The third goalkeeper in the squad is Reading's Luke Southwood, but he has not seen any senior action for his club side and is the only player in the 21-man England squad to not get any game time in South Korea.

  14. How have England done in previous events?published at 10:22 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

This is the 21st staging of the tournament and the first time England have got to the final.

They have made the semi-finals on two occasions - in 1981 when they went on to finish fourth, and in 1993 when they eventually finished third.

Twenty-four years ago, England lost 2-1 to Ghana in the semi-finals, before beating Australia 2-1 in the third-fourth play-off.

The England squad in 1993 included David Unsworth, Nick Barmby, Nicky Butt and Andy Johnson, who all went on to represent the senior England team.

  15. A career launch-padpublished at 10:17 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

So what is the Under-20 World Cup?

It is the biggest global tournament in youth football (there is no Under-21 World Cup) and has helped launch the career of a number of big names in football.

Argentina's team that won the 2005 event (then called the Fifa World Youth Championship) included a certain Lionel Messi and Luis Figo had inspired Portugal to victory in the 1991 competition.

More recently, Sergio Aguero won the Golden Ball awarded for the player of the tournament as Argentina won in 2007 and Paul Pogba guided France to the title in 2013.

Let's start with some England team news, and head coach Paul Simpson has made one change to the side that beat Italy 3-1 in the semi-finals.

The only change to the starting line-up is Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah, who missed the semi-final because of suspension, comes in with Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles dropping to the bench.

But that's it. No more. Never again has an England side, at any age group, been able to call themselves world champions.

Maybe no England side will ever match the achievements of Moore, Charlton and Hurst, but the next generation of potential stars may well create their own piece of English football history today.
