How exactly do you cross the line and become a booed former player rather than a former player?

Joining one of your main rivals (Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole etc take note) is obviously a no-no.

But leaving to further your career, for a big hike in wages, to be closer to family, all of the previous?

Will Britt Assombalonga get a good reception when he returns to Nottingham Forest with new club Middlesbrough?

They're into the final five minutes at Bramall Lane.

Barnsley have only had the one shot on target still.

That was the problem many fans envisaged this season and it's come to light today.

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Barnsley

Goalscorer Billy Sharp's game is done with 15 minutes left.

The striker is replaced by Ched Evans.

Can Barnsley sneak an equaliser from somewhere? The evidence so far suggests not.

The Blades go so close to a second.

Enda Stevens' cross is poked towards goal by substitute David Brooks, keeper Adam Davies pushes it away superbly and the ball strikes the upright.

Goodness me it's niggly out there.

Free-kicks left, right and centre and no real pattern to the game in the opening 10 minutes of the second half.

It's got all the passion of a derby match, but little quality.

Yep, it's still a rather tasty affair between these two south Yorkshire rivals.

Barnsley's Matty Pearson goes in late on Mark Duffy and referee Tim Robinson reaches for the yellow card.

If you've had a cheeky bet on booking points in this one, you could well be quids in soon.
