Andre Gray, Watford's most advanced player (18), is getting very familiar with the linesman's flag. He's just been flagged offside for the third time in this half, more than any other player.

Not the most scintillating of stats, I know, but this is not the most scintillating of games.

    Javier Hernandez (45 mins)

He scores goals, it's what he does! Out of nothing, West Ham are back in it. Kudos to Michail Antonio, who conjures up a shooting chance from 25 yards and hammers a left-footer on target, Fraser Forster can't hold on to it and Javier Hernandez reacts first, slamming home from close range.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:44 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

That is an absolute sitter! Robbie Brady's corner is a peach for Burnley, Ben Mee just has to touch it home but he somehow puts it wide!

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:42 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

West Brom are so close to an opener, even if Sam Field didn't know much about it. A corner is whipped in, somebody gets a touch on it and it hits Field, facing the wrong way, on the back of his head and goes over.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:42 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

    Oh, should have been 2-0!

Jamie Vardy looks to have nothing on as he is forced wide by his marker but somehow gets a cross in to the near post. Shinji Okazaki anticipates it almost perfectly but puts his volley just wide of the post.

    Liverpool 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Chances at either end!

First Roberto Firmino fires in a shot from long range which Wayne Hennessey has to parry clear.

Palace then break, Ruben Loftus-Cheek feeds Jason Puncheon with a lovely pass and he hammers a shot on the run which is straight at Simon Mignolet but really travelling. Decent save.

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

For a man in form that's a chance for Sam Vokes. Robbie Brady bends in a fine cross and he gets there, but doesn't get enough on the header and can only slide it wide.

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

I'd have thought Leicester would have gone in for the kill but they've slowed the tempo right down. I'm assuming that's not part of a plan as Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare motions to his players to get forward.

Crystal Palace enjoying their afternoon and rubbing salt in the wounds of the home crowd by asking and chanting 'where's your Coutinho?' We haven't seen any shots of him on the monitors here it's all a bit quiet.

Dusan Tadic steps up, drills it left footed and while Joe Hart gets feet to the ball, he can't stop it from going in.

  13. PENALTY SOUTHAMPTONpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Southampton 1-0 West Ham

West Ham have had a shocking few minutes. Jose Fonte gets somebody in a headlock and that's a penalty all day long...

  14. Postpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Southampton 1-0 West Ham

For a man who has made his living as a goal poacher, none of West Ham striker Javier Hernandez's 13 touches in the match so far have come in the opposition penalty area.

A second fine cross in from the left by new Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson, real whip and bend on the ball and Sadio Mane can't adjust at the far post to meet it with a telling connection.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Watford

I've seen Watford tipped my many to go down this season but they've been the better side so far in this game, just their finishing letting them down.

Good work again by Andre Gray creates a chance for Nathaniel Chalobah on the edge of the area, but he does not connect with the ball properly and it trickles towards the keeper.

  18. RED CARD - Marko Arnautovicpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Southampton 1-0 West Ham

I mean, you just can't do that. Marko Arnautovic closes down Jack Stephens and as the Saints man clears the ball he just clatters him in the neck with his left elbow.

Players look bemused as the red card comes out but that's a straightforward red card. Crazy.

Didn't he get sent off last season for lashing out at someone?

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:31 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

Best effort yet for the hosts. Textbook number nine stuff from Sam Vokes, cushioning a header down into the path of Johann Berg Gudmundsson, he cuts the ball on to his left foot but bends wide from 18 yards. That was close.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

Better from Brighton. Glenn Murray chests a ball into the box down for Jamie Murphy and he smashes an effort at goal but it is blocked by Wes Morgan. There's shouts for a penalty, referee Lee Probert is not at all interested but, having just seen a replay, Morgan did appear to move his am into the way of the shot.
