  1. YELLOW CARD (England)published at 15 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 England

Arsenal keeper Sari van Veenendaal comes out commandingly to claim the corner in the air.

Then, as she looks to clear it, England's Millie Bright collides with her on the edge of the area.

The Chelsea defender gets a booking. That one feels a tad harsh.

Jordan Nobbs' free-kick is nodded behind and it's a corner to England... The first of the match.

That was one of those really, really painful tackles. It was reckless - the referee has put a marker down with that yellow card.

  4. YELLOW CARD (Netherlands)published at 13 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 England

Dutch right-back Desiree van Lunteren catches Ellen White's foot near the touchline and it's the first yellow card of the game.

Raoul van Lennep: Hup Holland Hup!! Go Dutch lionesses!! Hoping for a good home win tonight 2-1!

Ssxio: Go England. Go Oranje! Happy for either to win! Winner of this game will win the tournament!

The home view there, plus the definition of a neutral. England fans, what do you think?

    Netherlands 0-0 England

The Lionesses aren't keeping the ball very well, so far. They can play a lot better than this.

Nerves are natural though, on such an occasion. After all, a first ever major trophy is potentially just 170 minutes away.

    Netherlands 0-0 England

England look ever so slightly anxious at the back, so far. There have been a couple of rushed clearances.

On the other hand, right-back Lucy Bronze has made two confident interceptions already.

No clear chances to report for either side just yet.

England win a free-kick along the halfway line, as former Chelsea Ladies midfielder Jackie Groenen clips Fran Kirby's heels.

The Lionesses are just looking to settle things down.

  9. Rocking in Enschedepublished at 6 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 England

    Alistair Magowan

It is absolutely rocking here. Every time flying wingers Lieke Martens and Shanice van de Sanden get near the ball, the place erupts.

But the England fans behind us are making a fair racket with a very keen drummer on board.

I quite enjoyed Rachel Brown-Finnis singing the national anthem whole-heartedly earlier. Once a Lioness, always a Lioness.

    Netherlands 0-0 England

A nervy clearance from England keeper Siobhan Chamberlain falls straight to the Netherlands' Lieke Martens outside the area, but the Dutch don't take advantage.

Plenty of noise from the home fans, who have packed out FC Twente's home ground.

Will the Netherlands feel like they've done enough already, getting this far?

England certainly won't be feeling like that.

England start brightly and Jordan Nobbs gets space down the right.

Nothing comes of the attack, but that's encouraging for the Lionesses.

  20. 'Stick to your own half'published at 19:36 British Summer Time 3 August 2017

    Netherlands v England (19:45 BST)

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport in Enschede

FC Twente's stadium holds 30,000 people, but it has a similar appearance to Old Trafford, with three high stands and one lower one on the opposite side to where we are sitting.

There was a funny moment a short while ago where Siobhan Chamberlain was practising her drop-kicks, which were sailing into the Dutch half. One missed the host players by a few yards, to which Lieke Martens gave back-up keeper Mary Earps, collecting the balls, a few choice words.

The gloves are off (for the outfield players anyway!).
