Stoke City v Manchester United (17:30 BST)

The ground on a Staffordshire hill. The storm clouds and the stiffening winds. This is where Manchester United will expose their immaculate record to the whims of Stoke City.

United have not won here since the days of Sir Alex and it was in the fourth game of last season that Mourinho's men dropped their first points of the season. Stoke rediscovered at least some of their abrasive edge in beating Arsenal here three weeks ago - they enjoyed some luck too. But that passionate Potteries atmosphere was back and Mark Hughes expects more of the same.

United's players also have a lot more international miles on the clock and that too will be a factor in making this their most difficult assignment so far.

Not just an intriguing match ahead but a very special occasion for commentator Nigel Johnson, who is covering his 2,000th game for BBC Radio Stoke today.

That's an incredible stint. Go well, Nigel.

Big hand to his Radio Stoke colleagues for ensuring he had a cracking one to commentate on too.

Always tough to judge a side from the first three games of the season but Manchester United couldn't really have made a better impression.

Three wins in three, without conceding, for Jose Mourinho's side.

Now that the international break and transfer window are out of the way, this is when we really learn what sides are made of.

Can the Red Devils do it at Stoke?

And what Stoke will they be facing? The shrewd outfit that downed Arsenal or the meek lot that lost to Everton on the opening day?

Looking forward to an intriguing match in the Potteries.
