Liverpool have found it hard with the diagonal ball at times from Hoffenheim, especially coming over on to Moreno's side.

Great save by Simon Mignolet as he punches away Nadiem Amiri's well-struck effort from Kerem Demirbay's cushioned header.

Moments later, Sadio Mane drives just wide as Liverpool attack quickly. Don't rule out another goal before full time.

Hoffenheim have bossed possession but it's Liverpool who have made it count most when they have had had the ball. Just two shots on target for the hosts compared to eight for Liverpool.

Havard Nordtveit gives away a free-kick on the left side of the area. Alberto Moreno and Trent Alexander-Arnold are over it and it is the former who takes it, but Moreno fires it in with two much pace and Roberto Firmino can't keep his header down.

Final change for Hoffenheim as Mark Uth replaces Serge Gnabry for the final 20 minutes.

Moments later, Oliver Baumann does superbly to deny a powerful Dejan Lovren header from a corner. A second goal for Liverpool and the tie is all over, surely.

Brilliant run by Trent Alexander-Arnold as he speeds past one player, shrugs off another before a lunging challenge by a third Hoffenheim player finally stops him in his tracks. It's been an excellent performance by the youngster, regardless of the goal.
