  1. Elsewhere in Europe ...published at 21:14 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

CSKA Moscow have equalised against Benfica through a Vitinho penalty after Andre Almeida handled in the box, Thiago Alcantara has doubled Bayern Munich's lead against 10-man Anderlecht and a Bruno Fernandes strike has put Sporting Lisbon 3-0 up away to Olympiakos.

  2. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 4-0 Qarabagpublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Tiemoue Bakayoko (71 mins)

A first goal for Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko and it's a scruffy affair. Eden Hazard's set-piece ping-pongs around the penalty area and Bakayoko, on for N'Golo Kante, hammers home via a deflection.

  3. goal

GOAL - Barcelona 3-0 Juventuspublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Lionel Messi (69 mins)

    He's some player!

He's scored this goal about 100 times and it's still brilliant every time. Lionel Messi dances inside from the right wing, in again, past another man, another, has he taken it too far?

No, he's battered home a left-footed shot from 20 yards.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:11 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Celtic 0-3 PSG

Celtic almost pull a goal back after Scott Sinclair cuts in from the left and closes in on goal but his shot from a tight angle is well saved by Alphonse Areola.

There were obviously words from Brendan at the break.

  5. Postpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Manchester United 2-0 Basel

Marouane Fellaini has been a very effective attacking presence since he came on and his cross from the right is turned over by Anthony Martial. A corner is taken quickly and Ashley Young has a low shot saved! More goals in this.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Chelsea 3-0 Qarabag

Great strike! Willian cuts in from his station on the left, hits a hammer drive which rattles the crossbar and bounces away.

  7. 'Should have hit it first time'published at 21:08 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on 5 live Sport

Fair play to Basel, they overloaded the box. But he should have hit it first time.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:08 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Manchester United 2-0 Basel

Better from Basel, who send Mohamed Elyounoussi into the area on the left. It's good defending from Victor Lindelof, who slides in and forces the winger to cut inside and get a shot away, David de Gea pushes it over the top!

A replay suggests that Lindelof's slide may have got a piece of Elyounoussi in fact. If he had gone down...

  9. Six shooter Romelupublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Man Utd 2-0 Basel

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Romelu Lukaku has certainly hit the ground running at Manchester United.

That was the Belgian's sixth goal in six games for the Red Devils.

To put that into context, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored five times in his first six games last season. Wayne Rooney and Ruud van Nistelrooy both began their United careers with four goals in six games.

In 2007-08, when Cristiano Ronaldo finished with 42 goals, he scored only once in his first six outings.

  10. Postpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Manchester United 2-0 Basel

Really slack defending from Basel as they try and hold a high line as Henrikh Mkhitaryan whips in a free-kick, all they manage to do is play Romelu Lukaku onside and leave him unmarked! Lukaku heads down but it's an easy save for Tomas Vaclik, who can push it over the top.

  11. 'Oh no, here's Hazard'published at 21:04 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Chelsea 3-0 Qarabag

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

Big roar from the Chelsea fans as Eden Hazard enters the fray - only his second appearance of the season as he continues his comeback from injury.

But he now gets a chance for a good half-hour or so ahead of the visit of Arsenal on Sunday and I'm sure Arsenal fans will remember how he tormented them last season.

Not the best if you're a Qarabag defender either.

  12. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Manchester United 2-0 Basel

Since Romelu Lukaku's goal Basel have come into the game more, and a testing ball in from wide on the left is dangerous, until Chris Smalling clears it away. Still just the one shot on target all night for the visitors.

  13. PSG's key men involved?published at 21:02 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Celtic 0-3 PSG

Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani have all got on the scoresheet tonight - and their combined touchmap below shows just how involved they have been in the game.

  16. 'He had his eyes on the ball'published at 20:59 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Manchester United 2-0 Basel

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on 5 live Sport

That's game over. Lukaku started the game well but then, like the rest of the team, he levelled off. But it was a good goal. There were a lot of bodies in there but he had his eyes on the ball.

  17. Elswhere in Europe ...published at 20:56 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

In Manchester United's group, Benfica have taken the lead against CSKA Moscow.

Swiss forward Haris Seferovic latched on to Andrija Zivkovic's cross to put the home side in front.

GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Qarabagpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Cesar Azpilicueta (55 mins)

That is a magnificent ball in! Cesc Fabregas provides a dream of a cross with the outside of his right foot, Cesar Azpilicueta is up and heads powerfully in from close range.

  19. goal

GOAL - Manchester United 2-0 Baselpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Romelu Lukaku (53 mins)

He's barely touched the ball at times but he's on the scoresheet! That's what he does. United take a short corner, Basel are slow to react and Daley Blind drills a cross to the far post. Romelu Lukaku is able to thump a header home without even jumping.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 12 September 2017

    Barcelona 1-0 Juventus

Lionel Messi smashes a shot against the post, it hits Gigi Buffon on the back and could go anywhere - luckily for Juve it drifts wide.
