    Oh.My.Goodness.

Everybody, absolutely everybody in front of us had their camera phones at the ready for that penalty.

    Lights, cameras, Aguero's penalty saved.

    Spartak Moscow 1-1 Liverpool

Can Liverpool find a winner in Moscow then? No real chances since the long stoppage as Spartak changed their keeper.

    Apoel Nicosia 0-3 Tottenham

It's actually a fabulous save. He doesn't buy the initial dummy from Sergio Aguero and makes a great save!

  6. MISSED PENALTY - Sergio Agueropublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Manchester City 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

Sergio Aguero up to level the Manchester City goalscoring record - saved!

Not the best penalty, at a comfortable height, pushed clear.

Daniel: He has had many critics since he joined Spurs but Moussa Sissoko is producing some fine performances of late.

Dan: Harry Kane must be on the verge of world class now, what a player.

    Manchester City 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

I can't believe he has missed it. It is a brilliant pass and it's set up perfectly for Raheem Sterling.

    What a chance!

    SITTER!

What a pass from the right by Kevin de Bruyne, served on a plate with a garnish of salad for Raheem Sterling, all he has to do is kick it in a straight line, but he can't!

Shanked wide off his left foot from four yards out. Pep Guardiola in disbelief.

    Manchester City 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

    Ally McCoist

It is a dangerous score-line. Manchester City are on top and playing some good football but you wouldn't write off Shakhtar Donetsk.

They are still in this game.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Spartak Moscow 1-1 Liverpool

After a long, long delay Spartak keeper Artem Rebrov has to come off. On in his place is Aleksandr Selikhov.

The hot topics we want to hear about?

How far can this Manchester City side go in Europe this season? Can they win it?

What is the answer to Jurgen Klopp's keeper question?

Which of these Premier League's best strikers - Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata - would you want in your team and why?

And finally, how can Sunderland stop the rot?

  14. 'No confidence in keepers'published at 21:11 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Spartak Moscow 1-1 Liverpool

    Ally McCoist
Former Scotland striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It is arguably the most important position in the side and playing three goalkeepers doesn't show much confidence.

GOAL - Apoel Nicosia 0-3 Tottenhampublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Harry Kane HAT-TRICK (67 mins)

The Apoel defenders are all left looking at each other, heads in hands, hands on hips, as Harry Kane completes another hat-trick!

It's dozy defending too as Kane starts the move by spreading it out wide to Kieran Trippier, then dashes in to meet a wonderful cross from the full-back and plant a header into the corner.

Left foot, right foot, header. PERFECT.

  16. Benjamin Mendy on crutchespublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Man City 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Manchester City are not giving a timescale on Benjamin Mendy's absence with a knee injury.

Mendy is seeing a specialist in Barcelona for a full diagnosis of the problem he suffered in Saturday's 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

However, the sight of the £52m full-back on crutches, making his way rather awkwardly to his seat at the Etihad Stadium will only fuel rumours that Mendy's absence is going to be a long one.

  17. Postpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Apoel Nicosia 0-2 Tottenham

Harry Kane is the first player representing an English side to score four goals in the first two matches of a Champions League season. He's different class. Without Dele Alli or Christian Eriksen tonight, too.

  18. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    Spartak Moscow 1-1 Liverpool

Sadio Mane is so swift of foot and of mind as he wriggles away from a man on the edge of the box but he can't quite get a shot away.

Artem Rebrov, who has had a good game in the Moscow net, took a whack earlier on when he saved from Mohamed Salah and he's down in pain at the moment.

It's still 2-0 to Besiktas, Sevilla and Napoli in the other games in Group F, G and E.

Porto have a narrow 1-0 lead over Monaco and Real Madrid are hanging on to that 2-1 lead over Borussia Dortmund.
