Leroy Sane has so much pace and aggression and it makes it very diffiicult for defenders to go against him.
I can't believe we have not had a goal scored in this game yet.
Manchester City 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk
What a game! Chances at both ends as first Facundo Ferreyra heads wide at the near post and then Leroy Sane finds a way through three defenders to dance into the area but put a shot right across the face of goal!
Spartak Moscow 1-1 Liverpool
Jordan Henderson pings in a cracking cross from the right, the Spartak defence should clear but don't and it falls for Roberto Firmino - who fluffs his connection. A big chance that.
Sevilla 2-0 NK Maribor
Sevilla are starting to turn the burners on now and they have doubled their lead over NK Maribor in Group E.
Ben Yedder has scored his second in just over 10 minutes.

Liverpool's keeper crisis continuing? Put your names on those texts please
How many times are we going to hear that the Liverpool goalie could have done better this season? lost count already and it's only September

If it's not the defence, it's the goalkeeping. Hit hard admittedly but that's well inside the post. Pressure on Klopp increasing.

Man City 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk
Things aren't going that smoothly for Manchester City tonight but it could be worse - the last team they played who wore a kit like Shakhtar's ended up relegating them from the top flight, on the final day of the 1982-83 season at their old Maine Road home.
Fortunately for City, although Donetsk are rocking a look that looks a lot like that classic 1980s Luton strip - white shirts with orange shoulders, and black shorts - they do not have a winger of the calibre of Ricky Hill, there is no sign of Raddy Antic amongst the Donetsk subs... and surely David Pleat's not at the Etihad Stadium tonight.
Or is he?
Harry Kane (39 mins)
Spurs have a let-off at one end and then instantly hit back at the other. Who else? Harry Kane!
Toby Alderweireld threads a superb ball through from the back to unpick a dodgy offside trap, the keeper is off his line and rather in no-man's land as Kane slots home left-footed from the edge of the area!
Monaco 0-1 Porto
There has finally been a goal in the Group G match-up.
Vincent Aboubakar has given Porto the lead.
It's only Tottenham and City's games which remain goalless.

I can't remember seeing a game as open as this one between two quality teams in the Champions League. Its been terrific.
Apoel Nicosia 0-0 Tottenham
What are you up to Hugo Lloris?! When sweeper keeping goes wrong!
Lloris comes out of the area to clear the ball but only kicks it into the chest of Davinson Sanchez, the ball almost ricochets in for a comedy own goal but the ball pings wide!
Apoel Nicosia 0-0 Tottenham
Have to score! Dear oh dear what a let-off for Spurs as they leave Carlao unmarked at the far post from a corner, he's free no more than six yards out, but heads it wide!
Manchester City 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

We just saw the unbelievable pace of Kyle Walker.
He is tackled in the Shakhtar Donetsk 18-yard box and he ends up making a tackle in his own 18-yard box.
Brilliant defending.
Manchester City 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk
A very evenly-matched contest this after half an hour, but after that Kevin de Bruyne miss at one end, Shakhtar go up field and almost break the deadlock.
Brazilian Marlos cuts in from the right and curls a left-footed shot towards the far corner, but home goalkeeper Ederson flies full stretch to his right and push the ball away.
It is an excellent save, the ball was creeping in.
Apoel Nicosia 0-0 Tottenham
Mauricio Pochettino has stuck with his three central defenders with Ben Davies (33), Davinson Sanchez (6), Toby Alderweireld (4) but they have looked a little shaky at times despite Tottenham's dominance of possession.
The formation has allowed Son Heung-min (7) to offer plenty of support to Harry Kane (10) and the pair have had Spurs' best efforts so far.

What a chance.
Kevin de Bruyne takes a lovely touch and he is well onside. He does the hard thing and gives the keeper the eyes but he does not hit the target. It is a poor finish.
That was clearly the best chance of the game so far.
Philippe Coutinho (31 mins)
A lovely, lovely goal! Liverpool turn on the style as Philippe Coutinho plays a one-two with Sadio Mane, runs into the penalty area, left-hand side, and whips a shot into the roof of the net. Fine finish indeed - his first goal in the Champions League!
Spartak Moscow 1-0 Liverpool
Liverpool are behind but as this touch map shows they have definitely had a lot more of the play in this game.
Jurgen Klopp's team are on the right....

Liverpool find themselves a goal down, lots of pressure from the away team but nothing to show for it...
Reece: Same old story. Dominate the ball but a mistake costs a goal. Shocking stuff.
Paul: Once again, dominate a game, fail to score, concede. Rinse, repeat.
Tony: Not sure about the goalkeeping for that Fernando goal ...
Manchester City 0-0 Shakhtar Donestsk
Everyone on their feet - they can't believe that's gone wide!
Gabriel Jesus finds Kevin de Bruyne overlapping on his left shoulder, the Belgian is played in, gives the keeper the eyes - but puts it wide!
