    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea take off their two best attackers, who have worked so hard tonight. Alvaro Morata can count his friends at Atleti on one hand as he is booed off very loudly.

On come Michy Batshuayi and Willian. Depth.

  2. CLOSE!published at 21:23 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

Almost a fifth, as Matteo Darmian gallops into the area and has a shot well saved. The ultimate insult.

Romelu Lukaku will get the rest of the game to try and score his hat-trick because Jose Mourinho has now made his three substitutions, the last one sees Marcus Rashford come on for Anthony Martial who really has been excellent tonight. There is real competition between those two for a starting place in this team and it seems to be spurring them both on to great heights this season.

There were a lot of questions asked about Alvaro Morata and his physicality but in the last two or three games he has really started to show his quality.

No hat-trick for Romelu Lukaku yet, and time is running out. This game was done as a contest inside 20 minutes though.

  8. 'Incredible counter-attack'published at 21:17 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

That is really unlucky. That was an incredible counter-attack by Chelsea. They broke away and Morata showed a great turn of pace.

He got in behind Lucas Hernandez and he tried to dink it with his toe. What a goal that would have been.

  9. Gonzalo Higuain scorespublished at 21:17 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Juventus 1-0 Olympiakos

The deadlock has finally been broken in Italy. There has now been a goal in every one of tonight's Champions League games.

  10. CLOSE!published at 21:17 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

Brilliant effort from Alvaro Morata! As route one as it gets as Chelsea just smash the ball clear, Morata is the only Chelsea man in the entire half, he has the pace and strength to get away from Lucas Hernandez, Jan Oblak comes out to meet him and Morata pokes it wide of him - but wide of the post too!

    CSKA Moscow 0-4 Manchester United

They have been really poor, defensively at least. And this won't help, as Marcus Rashford comes on for a limping Anthony Martial.

Okay, 4-0 up away in the Champion’s League is a great scoreline, but CSKA are by some distance the worst side I have seen in the competition in years. United won’t see this much space in a training game.

Into the last 20 minuets of an engaging game in Madrid. Still anyone's - although it's been all Chelsea for large periods.

    They've had 15 shots to Atletico's seven.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

  15. Will Lukaku bag a treble?published at 21:10 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-4 Manchester United

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 live in Moscow

The big question in the second half is will Romelu Lukaku go on to bag a Champions League hat-trick? CSKA keeper Igor Akinfeev has already denied him with a couple of good saves and Jose Mourinho might be starting to think about resting some key men ahead of the next assignment on Saturday which is the visit of Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

  16. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-4 Manchester United

This aging, old CSKA defence may have to face a bit of Marcus Rashford from the bench yet. Almost cruel. The first change is in fact Matteo Darmian on for Ashley Young.

Richard: Ruthless, relentless & merciless United today.

When was the last time Bayern Munich were hammered in the Champions League?

Outrageous skill by Kylian Mbappe again unlocks the Bayern defence, the ball falling kindly for Neymar to fire home from inside the six yard area.

  20. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

Cards on the table time, I expected this game to be tactical, a bit dull. Conte v Simeone. It's been anything but. A fine game to watch.

We had 30 seconds after that Alvaro Morata header where you could hear the pocket of Chelsea fans but it's back to normal now. Cracking noise inside the Wanda.
