    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

Atleti attack - Juanfran plays a one-two, gets a yard of space and bends in a fine cross which Chelsea just about turn away. That was better from the hosts.

  2. 'Comically bad'published at 20:21 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 live in Moscow

The support for CSKA in here is fantastic because the fans have not stopped singing despite the fact their team is 3-0 down and the defending for the second and third goals was comically bad. I have no idea how Vasili Berezutski failed to clear Martial's cross for the third goal, just a complete air-shot at the near post, and Martial, Mikhtaryan and Lukaku look like they're in the mood for more.

  3. 'Fascinating contest'published at 20:20 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

Alvaro Morata has had a couple of half chances, Eden Hazard hit the post and Thibaut Courtois has not really had a save to make.

It's a fascinating contest though. The intensity is brilliant.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:20 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

Almost four, and that would have been a hat-trick for Romelu Lukaku. A lovely effort from 20 yards, whipped in left-footed, but this time Igor Akinfeev is able to get down and save.

    Edinson Cavani

Bang! Edinson Cavani with a high quality first-time shot from just outside the area which flies into the net following a superb run and pass by the brilliant Kylian Mbappe.

There's even a smile and a pat on the back for Cavani from Neymar.

    Bayern are stunned.

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

I'm no expert on CSKA's recruitment in recent years but when the teams were announced most of the BBC Sport football desk were surprised that Vasili Berezutski and Sergei Ignashevich were still playing at the back. They have not been able to cope with Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial at all.

Imagine United still having Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic at the back. Freshen it up!

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Bayern Munich

It's end to end in Paris.

Moments after David Alaba narrowly fails to divert the ball over the line from inside the six-yard area, PSG break.

Kylian Mbappe is causing the German defence all sorts of problems with his pace and tees-up Edinson Cavani who drags his shot wide.

Cesc Fabregas whips in a fine free-kick out wide but it's well cleared. Chelsea still looking very good.

  9. 'United to win the title'published at 20:16 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

Manchester United have incredible athleticism and they have great height and great power. They were my tip to win the title.

That was before they brought in new players. They have such a good squad.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

Can Chelsea match United and get a win on the road? They are facing much tougher opposition, but they are playing very well in Madrid. Eden Hazard hits a shot straight at Jan Oblak.

    It's getting embarrassing for CSKA...

The defending here is dreadful as Vasili Berezutski misses the ball with a total air-kick, Anthony Martial's cross is able to find Romelu Lukaku unmarked, three yards out, and he can't miss.

He celebrates with a puffed out chest and folded arms. Confident? You bet.

  13. 'Amazing ball from Luiz'published at 20:11 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

That was an amazing ball from David Luiz on the diagonal. Alvaro Morata pulled off from his opponent but he just couldn't direct his header back across the keeper far enough.

It was a comfortable save in the end but that was a great move.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:10 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

What a knock from David Luiz! A 45-yard, diagonal through ball for Alvaro Morata to meet, a looping header from the striker and well tipped over by Jan Oblak.

De Gea, Courtois, Oblak. The Atleti fans have seen some keepers in the last few years!

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 Bayern Munich

Bayern have settled after the shock of falling behind so quickly.

The Germans are growing in confidence and Javi Martinez's first time shot from outside the area is brilliantly kept out by keeper Alphonse Areola.

Bayern skipper Thomas Muller was forced off for treatment after connecting with Thiago Silva's studs but is back on now.

Paul: Must be weird for Costa. Will he celebrate when Chelsea score then realise..."oops? not them anymore"?

That would be an extremely awkward situation.

    Basel 2-0 Benfica

Basel have doubled their lead! They have made a fantastic start against Benfica and Dimitri Oberlin has got their second goal.

Benfica have a lot to do now...

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:08 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-2 Manchester United

A very decent strike from Aleksandr Golovin as the CSKA man finds a pocket of space maybe 20 yards out, hits it early and it's curling towards the bottom corner but ends up just wide. David de Gea had it covered.

  19. 'All wrong from Griezmann'published at 20:07 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

It was two or three yards away but I think Antoine Griezmann was trying to score there as he whipped it in.

He got that all wrong then.

  20. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Chelsea

Ngolo Kante goes in for a slightly high challenge on former Chelsea full-back Filipe Luis but there's not much in that. The home fans whistle loudly, they want more action.

Antoine Griezmann sends the free-kick harmlessly over.
