  1. 'Agonizing for Conte'published at 21:05 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

That was such a goal mouth scramble! Eventually when it pops across the six yard box it looked like Cesc Fabregas had a tap in.

He almost got his foot stuck in the ground. That was agonizing for Antonio Conte.

  2. Coates scores...published at 21:05 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Sporting Lisbon 0-1 Barcelona

Former Liverpool centre-back Sebastien Coates is scoring goals for Barcelona... but he's playing for Sporting Lisbon.

His own goal has broken the deadlock in Portugal as Barcelona now lead.

  3. CLOSE!published at 21:05 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

And Chelsea should be ahead! What a performance since the break from the visitors. Again Eden Hazard is the creator, digging out a low cross which Cesc Fabregas stabs wide on the stretch. So nearly a lead.

  4. 'Morata did exceptionally well'published at 21:04 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

What a brilliant ball in from Eden Hazard and Morata did exceptionally well to steal half a yard on the defender.

That was a great move and you can see how much that meant to Chelsea. This is a tough group and you expect these two to be fighting it out for the top spot.

    Alvaro Morata (60 mins)

A brilliant centre-forward's goal! And a huge celebration too from former Real Madrid man Alvaro Morata. He's been hammered all game by the home fans and he milks his celebration, sprinting down the sidelines to embrace Antonio Conte.

Eden Hazard bends in a cross from the left and Morata just gets the slightest of headers on it to flick into the net. The first goal Atleti have conceded in their new home.

More terrible defending punished by a ruthless Manchester United. Sergei Ignashevich at fault again with a poor pass out from the back, it's played through to Anthony Martial, his powerful shot is only parried away by Igor Akinfeev and Henrikh Mkhitaryan reacts well to bury it.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

Victor Moses with a range-finder from 20 yards, it fizzes just past the post as Chelsea continue to push hard for an equaliser. Still more than half an hour to go.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:57 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Paris St-Germain 2-0 Bayern Munich

Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is in the crowd in Paris.

    He's watching a cracker.

Thiago Silva is well placed to prevent Javi Martinez's header crossing the line before PSG surge forward.

It looks like 3-0 when Kylian Mbappe finds Neymar unmarked deep inside the Bayern penalty are but the Brazilian blazes a great chance wide.

  9. 'Chelsea started strongly'published at 20:55 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

That was a really good cross and Morata was just inches away from getting on the end of that.

Chelsea again, have started off strongly.

  10. CLOSE!published at 20:55 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

Superb ball in from Cesar Azpilicueta - just ahead of Alvaro Morata! Those two have already combined well at times this season.

Antoine Griezmann is booked for hauling down Eden Hazard.

  11. 'Chelsea will create chances'published at 20:53 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City and England defender on Radio 5 live

Chelsea are certainly not out of this and I think they will create two or three good chances in this second-half.

Will they have the composure to tuck them away?

  12. goal

GOAL - Anderlecht 0-2 Celticpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Kara Mbodji (OG 52 mins)

A big goal for Celtic! They have won one of their 30 away games in the Champions League but may be on track for number two as Patrick Roberts hits a big deflected drive into the net.

In fact it has been credited as an OG.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:52 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

Hat-trick? Denied! Romelu Lukaku goes close again but his powerful shot is too close to Igor Akinfeev, who sticks out a big hand to push it clear.

Spotters' badge to Anthony Martial by the way. A terrific pass into his partner in crime's path.

  14. Postpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

Alvaro Morata is fouled out wide but the free-kick comes to nothing. Wasteful. At the other end Gary Cahill brings down Angel Correa and could have been booked. From the free-kick Saul heads wide.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:49 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

First shot of the second half comes from CSKA's Aleksandr Golovin, it's a very neat passing move too from the army men, but Golovin's drive is narrowly over.

  16. 'Luiz foul is annoying'published at 20:48 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

    Ian Wright
Former Arsenal & England striker on Radio 5 live

You can see when Diego Costa gets into that team he will give Atletico Madrid such a boost but Chelsea are doing fairly well away from home.

Danny Mills was right though. What a ridiculous foul from David Luiz to give away. It's ridiculous, unnecessary and annoying!

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    CSKA Moscow 0-3 Manchester United

Away we go! Soon to be under way in all the night's other games too.

  18. 'An epidemic of misplaced passes'published at 20:45 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Anderlecht 0-1 Celtic

    Tom English
    Chief sports writer, BBC Scotland

It's beautifully poised for Celtic but in a Champions League context it's second-rate stuff. Ntcham gave it away four times in the first 15 minutes, Sinclair gave it away, Rogic gave it away. It was an epidemic of misplaced passes. The good thing is that Anderlecht haven't been up to much. They don't look like cutting Celtic apart. Celtic's goal was a moment of beauty dropped into a load of rubbish.

  19. Postpublished at 20:42 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

A fair point Jon. It's the old 'if you give a penalty for that you'd give x amount a game' argument. But it's a clear penalty by David Luiz. He had a handful of the shirt of Lucaz Hernandez.

  20. get involved

Get Involvedpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea dominant in first half, consistency of refereeing proving costly. Shirt pulling about 10 minutes ago by Atletico goes unpunished in the box.

    Jon

Luiz is getting a liability again for Chelsea Stupid sending off V Arsenal and now giving away a needless penalty when Chelsea are on top V Athletico
