The Wanda Metropolitano is very impressive, but it will be even better when it's finished in January.

It will certainly be one of the best stadiums in Europe and it's no surprise Uefa have picked it to host the Champions League Final in 2019.

You will have seen the amazing photos from inside but we arrived yesterday to see several cranes and builders applying the final touches.

It holds 68,000, which is 14,000 more than the Vincente Calderon, but will it replicate the noise of the Calderon?

    We will find out shortly.

Conor: Gary Cahill is terrible and should play only in the Carabao Cup.

Dan: Lindelof is pacy and strong sure, but he's always got a foul in him. Worried about him being the central defender tonight.

It appears not everyone is happy with how the teams line up...

And there's the noise.....as soon as the CSKA players came out of the tunnel to warm up their fans have burst into some deep, booming chants with a heavy drum beat to accompany them.

There's also three chaps who've bravely decided to come and support their team bare-chested although due to their size, and I wouldn't say this to their faces, they do have some natural insulation against the cold.

    • CSKA have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 29 Champions League games, their last shut-out coming in November 2011 against Trabzonspor (0-0). In fact, Igor Akinfeev has failed to keep a clean sheet in his last 40 games (excluding qualifiers), the longest ever run for a goalkeeper in the competition.

This is my second night of football in the Russian capital and I'm surprised at how quiet it is in here even though it's only half an hour minutes before kick-off. By this time last night the Spartak Moscow fans were making a right racket - maybe the CSKA fans are keeping their powder dry.

CSKA name the same team that won 2-1 at Benfica in their first game and one to watch is 21 year-old midfield star Aleksandr Golovin.

Chelsea arrived in Madrid with five Spaniards in their squad - defenders Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta, midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Pedro, and forward Alvaro Morata.

There is also a lot of attention on goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The 25-year-old Belgium international spent three seasons on loan at Atletico before becoming Chelsea's number one.

In 2011-12, Courtois helped Diego Simeone's side beat Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League final before winning the Copa del Rey the following season after victory over city rivals Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Courtois also played in all but one game as Atletico won the league title in 2014.

Here's one for superstitious United fans - the team are wearing their third change kit tonight which is light grey.

That immediately takes you back 21 years to the Dell in April 1996 when United were 3-0 down against Southampton at half-time and Sir Alex Ferguson ordered his players to change their shirts because he famously complained they couldn't see each other.

The club actually say this new kit is light silver and it also has a silhouette on it which depicts the famous statue of Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law which stands outside Old Trafford.

If Edinson Cavani or Robert Lewandowski find the net tonight, they’d become only the fifth player to score in six consecutive games in the competition after Ruud van Nistelrooy, Marouane Chamakh, Burak Yilmaz and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Group D match between Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona could be an interesting watch too.

Lionel Messi is on fire at the moment and he has already scored 12 goals in nine appearances for the Catalan club this season.

After Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a brace against Borussia Dortmund last night, Messi will be keen to get his name on the score-sheet yet again.

    • In fact, away from home in the Champions League, Celtic have lost 26 of their 30 games (W1 D3) and have never kept a clean sheet. Their only win came against Spartak Moscow in October 2012 (3-2).

CSKA Moscow v Manchester United (19:45 BST)

    Manchester United

A much-changed Manchester United side for their second Champions League group game. Jose Mourinho looks to have lined up with five at the back.

Ashley Young skippers the side as Victor Lindelof partners Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly, with Daley Blind at left-back. No Paul Pogba or Marouane Fellaini, so forgotten man Ander Herrera comes in.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Young, Lindelof, Bailly, Smalling, Blind, Matic, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku.

Veteran defenders Vasili Berezutski and Sergei Ignashevich both start for CSKA Moscow. Football Manager legend Igor Akinfeev is the goalkeeper.

CSKA XI: Akinfeev, Vasin, V Berezutski, Ignashevich, Wernbloom, Fernandez, Dzagoev, Golovin, Schennikov, Chalov, Vitinho.

  19. Bayern's big benchpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 27 September 2017

    Paris St-Germain v Bayern Munich (19:45 BST)

The big match in Group B tonight is undoubtedly PSG v Bayern Munich - a battle of the big guns.

There are plenty who think PSG have a better chance of winning the Champions League this year and tonight is an opportunity for the French side to confirm that.

Their attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar will no doubt give Bayern Munich plenty of problems.

Paris Saint-Germain XI: Areola, Alves, Marquinhos, Silva, Kurzawa, Verratti, Motta, Rabiot, Mbappe, Cavani, Neymar

The Germans have plenty of attacking threat themselves as Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski will look to impose their talents on the game.

Ribery and Robben will have to make their impacts from the bench however as they have both been left out of the starting XI.

That's an interesting selection from Carlo Ancelotti, will it pay off?

Bayern Munich XI: Ulreich, Sule, Thiago, Martinez, Lewandowski, James, Vidal, Tolisso, Muller, Alaba, Kimmich
