Atletico Madrid are arguably the night's biggest losers so far. They still trail Qarabag 1-0.

That scoreline is the only silver lining for Antonio Conte's Chelsea side at the moment. The Blues are three points clear of third-place Qarabag in Group C as it stands.

Elsewhere on a quiet night, Neymar has doubled PSG's lead at home to Anderlecht, compounding the misery of Celtic fans. The Bhoys cannot finish in the top two of Group B if PSG better their result this evening.

Basel still lead CSKA Moscow 1-0 in Group A. If Basel win, Man Utd need only draw to guarantee their passage to the last-16.

In Group D, Olympiakos and Barcelona are drawing 0-0 whilst Sporting Lisbon still lead Juventus through Bruno Cesar's goal.

    Celtic 0-1 Bayern

Plenty for Celtic to be positive about at the break. They've looked composed on the ball and mostly organised in defence. Callum McGregor and James Forrest in particular have looked lively and caused the Germans problems. The applause as both sides trooped off the pitch tells you the fans are liking what they're seeing

What has happened to this Chelsea defence since last season? Painful to watch

People don’t understand the role of a centre forward. When the ball is getting put into the box you should be on the end of it, but when not it is vital to stay high up the pitch and stretch the defence as much as possible. That’s how to create space for players like Martial and Rashford.

It was a brilliant first half. Chelsea created two fantastic opportunities but Roma capitalised on two mistakes.

They are now in control of this game.

How has Manchester United youngster Scott McTominay done in his first Champions League start?

Quite well, to be fair, considering Benfica were the better team in the opening period and posed more of a goalscoring threat.

The 20-year-old from Lancaster made two interceptions and won the ball back seven times - no player contributed more.

It struck his back and went in!

If it wasn't for bad luck, Mile Svilar would have no luck at all.

He carried a cross over the line for the winner in Lisbon and now he's got no chance with this. Nemanja Matic thuds the base of the post from 25 yards, great hit, but it spins out and hits the keeper on the back of the head and goes in.

    That's a top save!

Chelsea move the ball neatly from right to left, Marcos Alonso works it on to his right foot but a fine strike is tipped away by Alisson Becker. Who is some keeper. Brazilian number 1.

It has been a fantastic first half. Roma got off to a great start then Chelsea dominated for a period of time. That was a real soccer punch with that second goal though.

Antonio Conte will be kicking himself at half-time.

Anthony Martial is the bright spark for United. A fine run just sees him run out of grass before he collects a pass 20 yards out and lashes one over.

Dave: If you take out Lukaku, this is the same United team that played last year, and playing the same way. Just saying.

I've seen some defending from Celtic and Chelsea that makes your head spin. Rudimental basics.

Cesar Azpilicueta is injured now as well. He's hoping to be able to continue but he doesn't look too clever.
