Those three players up front for Tottenham just look unstoppable at the moment.

You don't often see Real Madrid getting beat 3-0 and I actually think that is a fair result!

Still 25 minutes left in Naples, scintillating viewing. City are through with a point.

  4. A result that will reverberatepublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Tottenham 3-0 Real Madrid

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live football reporter

Unbelievable, Wembley is rocking now. What a result this will be for Tottenham, remember October 2012 was the last time Real Madrid lost a group game in the Champions League and they've only failed to score once in the last 53 group matches. The European Champions are on the ropes, Ronaldo's body language is getting worse, much arm flapping.

This result will reverberate around Europe.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Napoli 2-2 Manchester City

City instantly attack and have a penalty shout of their own waved away. Let's see, Raheem Sterling's cross hits the arm of Elseid Hysaj but he was trying to get out of the way.

    Jorginho (Pen 62 mins)

What a ludicrous minute of action. Napoli are back level as Jorginho rolls in a penalty, which was awarded for Leroy Sane catching Raul Albiol.

    Christian Eriksen (65 mins)

Finish! Real Madrid have left so much space in behind all night and once Harry Kane plays in Christian Eriksen it's never going to be anything other than a goal. Left foot, clipped in, his first Champions League goal in five years!

    Emre Can (64 mins)

    This is a lovely goal.

Emre Can exchanges passes with James Milner and drills a low finish into the net from the edge of the box.

That should see Liverpool collect all three points.

Those shots were all from two yards out and Real Madrid couldn't get the ball in the net!

They have actually looked more dangerous when they have just put the ball in the middle... the British way!

Large slice of good fortune involved in Dele Alli's second goal but the Spurs fans do not care. Wembley is rocking the holders are on the rack.

  15. CLOSE!published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has had a pretty quiet night and he can't meet a cross with a towering header at the back post. Corner.

OFF THE LINE! How has that stayed out? Kieran Trippier got it away and then Sergio Ramos shoots into the back of Ronaldo!

Despite the great start to the season, I thought Man City would get found out against the good European teams but this performance is something really really special. This is the making of City!

    MYK, London

This is a European glory night for Spurs. More of a Halloween gory night for Real. Sensational!

    Napoli 1-2 Manchester City

Napoli back piling on the pressure - and that's brilliant! Lorenzo Insigne leaves Danilo on his backside with a jinking bit of play on the left, and he then smashes a shot against the top of the bar from 20 yards!

    Class.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

  19. 'Alli stayed calm'published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 Real Madrid

    Pat Nevin

The brilliance from Dele Alli is that he did not panic! He smashed it and he got the deflection which made all the difference.

But it was because he stayed calm.

  20. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Real Madridpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Dele Alli (56 mins)

Cristiano Ronaldo has never lost at Wembley but he might be about to. Rubbish defending, from the Chelsea playbook last night. Casemiro dives in to meet a loose ball in midfield, nowhere near it and Dele Alli can carry it it forwards. He reaches the edge of the area, Sergio Ramos turns his back and Alli's shot takes a huge deflection off Ramos and spins in.

    Spurs flying!
