Héctor Herrera scores the first goal of the match in Porto against Leipzig tonight.

That's bad news for Besiktas who will be through if Leipzig win tonight.

Clement Lenglet has scored for Sevilla against Spartak - 1-0 there.

If Sevilla win tonight, they'll have gone a year without losing at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium (since Barcelona beat them in on 6 November 2016).

    Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live football reporter

What a start for Tottenham, did they get away with one there ? Was Kieran Tripper offside in the build up to the goal? Real have woken up - but that's what happens when you poke the beast. It's so open.

  3. goal

GOAL - Napoli 1-1 Manchester Citypublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Nicolas Otamendi

I was just about to type that City were having a really strong few minutes, and they equalise at the end of it. An Ilkay Gundogan cross from the right is perfect, City have three men going up for a header at the far post and it ends up with Nicolas Otamendi heading down. Pepe Reina gets a touch but can't keep it out.

    A really good game.

    Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid

There is so much going on. There are so many chances!

I'm so surprised by how open Real Madrid are playing at the back. Tottenham have been the better side.

  5. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Liverpool 0-0 Maribor

Another good chance for Liverpool goes begging as Emre Can heads over the top. The cross was six inches too high.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 Manchester City

Napoli lose Faouzi Ghoulam to injury and City break in numbers, they have a man over and you almost expect a goal here.

Kevin de Bruyne is the conductor, the ball comes for Sergio Aguero but that's not a great touch and he ends up having a deflected shot spin just wide.

    Almost the record breaker.

Great to see my team Tottenham mixing it with the best, hopefully we will see more from them as the game goes on. FANTASTIC!!

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid

Spurs almost spring Moussa Sissoko in on goal but Marcelo as last man makes a desperate challenge.

Why does everyone play a really high line at Wembley?! Ronaldo has his first moment of the night, stinging left-foot shot but Hugo Lloris is all over it.

    Liverpool 0-0 Maribor

Two very good games at Wembley and in Naples, Anfield is playing catch up. But that's almost the break through, Roberto Firmino stoops and sees his header tipped on to the bar!

That's a superb save in fact from 39-year-old Jasmin Handanovic.

    Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid

    Pat Nevin

They absolutely deserve to be ahead but the most important thing for that goal was Harry Kane chasing that ball in the corner.

He had no right to get that ball back. Nobody is doing that for Real Madrid. They don't have anyone with that hunger.

He didn't get the goal or the assist but well done Harry Kane! What a beautiful touch from Dele Alli too.

    Greatly deserved.

  12. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid

Wembley is bouncing now. Great noise inside the arena with Spurs going through if it stays like this. Spurs have been the better side, no doubt. That goal had its genesis in Harry Kane chasing a lost cause and forcing Nacho to clear his lines. Great persistence.

Real turn it up a notch now and Casemiro has a shot saved.

  13. Shakhtar Donetsk strike backpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Feyenoord

It's a very short-lived joy for Feyenoord in Ukraine as Shakhtar Donetsk score two goals in three minutes through Facundo Ferreyra and Bonfim Marlos.

  14. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Real Madridpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Dele Alli (27 mins)

    Deserved. Thoroughly deserved.

Real didn't learn a single thing from a chance earlier on as Spurs score from a carbon copy. A ball over the top picks out Kieran Trippier on the right, slightly offside maybe, and he cushions a lovely volleyed cross into the middle. This time Dele Alli has anticipated it and pokes in from a few yards out.

    Napoli 1-0 Manchester City

Manchester City haven't lost a game since the FA Cup semi-final in April. Extraordinary run. They are up against it here but have plenty of quality themselves to still turn this around.

    That Napoli goal was class.

Problem for Spurs, Toby Alderweireld's hamstring has twanged. Moussa Sissoko is on, Eric Dier goes back into the back three.

    Napoli 1-0 Manchester City

    Alistair Bruce-Ball

That was a fabulous goal from the home team! It was a cheeky little one-two which lead to the goal.

Insigne finished calmly and beautifully into the corner.

    Tottenham 0-0 Real Madrid

    Pat Nevin

There is no doubt Tottenham are the better team - by some considerable difference. You just want one to full to Harry Kane inside the box.

The worry is with Real Madrid, anyone of Benzema or Ronaldo, can take that away with one moment of brilliance.

    TouchmapImage source, Opta

Looking at the touchmap, you would think, 'ah yes. The Liverpool midfield is seeing plenty of the ball'.

    Incorrect.

That is in fact showing the number of touches centre-backs Ragnar Klavan (left) and Joel Matip have had in the match so far.

They are pushing right up the pitch.

Matip leads the way with 47 touches on the ball, closely followed by Klavan's 42. No other player on the pitch has had more.

  20. goal

GOAL - Napoli 1-0 Manchester Citypublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2017

    Lorenzo Insigne (21 mins)

There we go, down the left! What a lovely goal, a trademark Lorenzo Insigne goal if such a thing exists. He fires a pass into Dries Mertens with his back to goal, the Belgian's flick around the corner is something else and Insigne collects and curls past Ederson and in.

    Incisive. Insigne.
