Manchester United have dominated possession in the early stages but Mohamed Elyounoussi wins the ball inside his own half and sets off down the wing. He keeps going... and going... before some nifty footwork gets him into the area. It's a run and move that deserves to end with a shot on goal but his final touch is too heavy and he knocks the ball out of play.

"What a magnificent goal, straight off the training pitch, similar to the goal they scored against Kilmarnock.

"I don’t know what Dani Alves was thinking - it was almost as if he wasn’t bothered, he didn’t look up, his stray pass went out for a corner and Celtic got their goal.

"Celtic are going about their business, pressing PSG higher up the pitch than they did at Parkhead, and it’s worked to a point. It gives them something to hang onto now."

Juve have made a bright start with Douglas Costa having a low shot well held by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Barca now controlling possession though as you'd expect. Luis Suarez is pretty much up front on his own.

First attack by Manchester United as Romelu Lukaku works the ball out wide for Anthony Martial. The tricky forward attempts some trickery... doesn't come off. Cue ironic cheers from the home crowd.

Sergio Romero hoofs the ball upfield as Michael Lang puts the Manchester United goalkeeper under some early pressure. Basel will be going all out in this one, they need the win.

Basel striker Dimitri Oberlin starts tonight against the club he reportedly could have joined as a teenager.

Still only 20, he has made the most of his loan stint in Switzerland from Red Bull Salzburg with five goals in 15 games.

His reported £4.4m release clause has, according to TuttoMercatoWeb,, external got United and a host of other European powerhouses, such as Juventus, Roma and Arsenal, sniffing around once again.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on BT Sport: "We know its going to be a really, really tough game for us, but we showed in the last game that if you play with that belief, you can create chances and score goals in these games.

"We feel that if we have dangerous possession and defend strongly, we’re in with a fighting chance."

Christian: Still no sign of Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo's return will surely push him further down the pecking order. A massive shame for such a talented young player.

Ricardo LiArno: Now I agree I thought Lingard would be cannon fodder by now but Sterling, Alli. Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain and more English midfielders can't say they've scored in two finals! With work he could be reminiscent of Ji-sung Park!

Lionel Messi has played 90 minutes in every game he's played for Barcelona this season. He doesn't even get taken off, never mind left on the bench.

Basel cannot qualify tonight now, because CSKA Moscow won in Russia earlier on.

But their superior head-to-head record means they will replace CSKA in second if they beat United.

This is the case for Sergio Romero - last season he was amazing for us in the Europa League and this season he never plays. But this is not because it is an easy game, it will be a tough game.

"I had problems here with Chelsea too. Basel have a certain tradition to get amazing results as they did before in this group, beating Benfica 5-0."
