  1. CLOSE!published at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    Juventus 0-0 Barcelona

The game in Turin has definitely been the worst of the bunch so far but there's a piece of class! Paulo Dybala collects a crossfield pass from Alex Sandro, his touch is immaculate as he glides away from Gerard Pique but the angle is not his friend and he can only lash a shot over.

    Great effort!

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    Basel 0-0 Manchester United

    Where did that come from!?

Anthony Martial swings in a cross. He's aiming for Marouane Fellaini but the ball sails over his sizeable head of hair and hits far the post.

So close to the opener for Manchester United with just a few minutes to go until the break.

Really poor effort, he's tried to do it Ronaldo style and got it completely wrong.

    Basel 0-0 Manchester United

Set pieces will probably be Basel's best chance of scoring and they have a free kick now 30 yards from goal. Dimitri Oberlin takes it... and fires it high and wide.

Terrible set pieces so far tonight.

Pranab Ranjan: PSG are showing the gap between the best of Scottish football and the best of European football. All talk of Celtic being able to compete in the Premier League is nonsense.

    PSG 4-1 Celtic

Neymar now plays a ridiculous pass, just obscene really, 50 yards if it's a day, over the top, back spin, perfect weight into Kylian Mbappe's run.

This time the France forward can't beat Craig Gordon at his near post.

Our Swiss friend next to us said this says: “When you need a 12th man, he is ready.”

Great atmosphere in here tonight. Manchester United fans loud too.

PS. We hope that’s what it means!!

Thomas Hollern: I keep reading how an English club will win the Champions League, topping their groups etc. But I don't see any English club with the same kind of quality as PSG. They're world class throughout.

Manchester United can not be physically intimidated. Basel are putting in challenges, a little bit late on occasion. United are a big strong powerful side, they can deal with this.

Matteo Darmian charges away down the right. He's got loads of space but hits his cross long, finding his fellow full-back Daley Blind, who subsequently volleys well, well wide.

For all their possession Manchester United have only had two decent chances so far. Ten minutes to go until the break.

GOAL - PSG 4-1 Celticpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    Kylian Mbappe (35 mins)

PSG are good enough to bury most sides but that's now two goals Celtic have conceded from set-pieces. The ball in is not dealt with, Marquinhos flicks it on to Kylian Mbappe, he hammers in a shot and while Craig Gordon gets a hand to it it still goes in off the inside of the post.

This could get ugly for Celtic.

It has been slow going in Turin but that's a neat move from Barca, Gerard Deulofeu playing in Nelson Semedo on the overlap and his dangerous cross is on the money - but cleared.

... Paul Pogba glances at the top right corner, he fancies his chances from the free-kick. The ball goes up and over the wall but never comes down, sailing way over the bar. Chance gone.

A penny for Oumar Niasse's thoughts. Just in general to be honest. But former Spurs midfielder Paulinho is in the book for a dive inside the area. No penalty given, just a booking.

Couple of corners in quick succession for Manchester United, all of which come to nothing.

Then, Serey Die bundles into Paul Pogba on the edge of the area and the visitors have a free-kick in a good position...

Go Lang, go Lang, go Lang.

If you don't no the lyrics to The Chiffons' He's So Fine then you won't know what I'm wittering on about.

Regardless, Michael Lang is indeed looking fine. He's been Basel's best player so far and if they do get a goal, it will more than likely come from one of his crosses. He's had the better of Daley Blind down the flank on the few occasions Basel have got forward.

GOAL - PSG 3-1 Celticpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    Edinson Cavani 28 mins)

The floodgates are opening up now. PSG score an ugly goal to prove they can do it all, Neymar heading a free-kick across goal and presenting Edinson Cavani with an unmissable chance inside the six-yard box.

  20. 'Celtic will get hurt'published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    PSG 2-1 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
    Former Celtic goalkeeper

"It’s brilliant play by Neymar, one-twos around the edge of the box. He gets to almost the same angle as his first goal, and he hits it so quickly across the goalkeeper that I don’t think Craig Gordon had any chance.

"But again, it goes back to giving the ball away, they’ve got possession in front of Celtic’s box and they play that little combination play.

"Every single chance PSG have had in this game has come from Celtic giving the ball away in their own half. I know it's easy looking from up here, but they're professional players, they must realise that if they give the ball away in those situations, a team of this quality will hurt them."
