There have been some good saves.

Philippe Coutinho tricks his way to the byeline but James Tarkowski, who has been everywhere, slides in to block the Brazilian's pull back.

Emre Can nods over from the resulting corner.

Liverpool wobble under another testing set-piece, setting up with a ridiculously high line to defend a wide free-kick and then losing their men as the delivery comes in.

Wave after wave now.

And that would have been a sublime way to take the lead.
