What is the most remarkable thing you've ever seen on a football pitch?

Louis Spence: I'm a Nottingham Forest fan and I saw Brian Clough clip a fan around the ear for invading the pitch!

Jack Beardwell: With my uncle at our beloved Burnley a few years back. A bird poo landed on his head, then we scored!

Joe Wedgwood: Last 10 minutes, I cross ball in for striker to head home! Look up and he's stopped to answer his bleep! He's a doctor!

Yes, we're only a few weeks into the new season but who'd have thought this would be a meeting between the sixth and seventh best teams in the country?

With five of their eight points having been earned on their travels, the Clarets have probably even pleasantly surprised themselves - they took just one point from their first 11 matches on the road last season.

Burnley were the only newly promoted side to survive in 2016-17 and perhaps significantly they didn't lose to either of the other two, Hull or Middlesbrough.

Huddersfield will be acutely aware of the significance of games against sides with recent Championship experience, and though Manchester United, Spurs and Liverpool loom in the next month, it's matches like this one which matter most.

It is the first time in 11 years Everton have failed to score in four consecutive matches in all competitions.

They could lose four consecutive league fixtures without scoring for the first time since a run of six in a row from August to October 2005.

Everton's rollercoaster season started with a £150m squad overhaul and a catapult launch of four straight wins in all competitions.

Ronald Koeman's team hit a plateau of two draws before the swooping plunge again of four straight defeats without scoring.

Now we'll find out if Wednesday's 3-0 League Cup win over Sunderland is a new upward propulsion.

Bournemouth's campaign has been more of a slow burn. Eddie Howe finally got his first league win last week.

The visitors will be mindful of their 6-3 defeat at Goodison last season but grateful that Romelu Lukaku, who scored four that day, will not be involved this time.

Manchester City v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

When you are bottom of the division without a point and 450 minutes without a Premier League goal, the last place you would want to travel to at the moment is Manchester.

But that's the scenario for Crystal Palace as they face City this weekend and United seven days later.

They will feel that returning with anything to south London will be a welcome bonus before facing Chelsea at Selhurst Park in an incredibly tough period.

Roy Hodgson will need all his experience to try and put together a plan to put the brakes on City's early-season pace, with Pep Guardiola's team already averaging three goals a game and looking imperious going forward.

I watched this fixture last season when Sam Allardyce's team were torn apart and lost 5-0. Hodgson will hope Palace's players will have learnt some lessons as they return to the Etihad.

Manchester City are often accused of simply trying to buy success, so is it time we gave their manager Pep Guardiola some credit for improving his big-name players too?

Kevin de Bruyne, who has gone from a goal-grabbing attacker into someone Guardiola described this month as being a "complete player," appears to be a prime example of a top talent he has enhanced further.

    Find out how here.

Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany is expected to be available after a calf injury.

Ilkay Gundogan is unlikely to feature after suffering a minor knee injury in midweek in his first game back following nine months on the sidelines.

Crystal Palace are set to hand centre-back Mamadou Sakho his first league start since he joined the club permanently last month.

Wilfried Zaha and Connor Wickham remain sidelined by injuries.

Amateur 7 a side tournament in Turkey. 6-6. 5 seconds to go. Goalie somehow scores a volley from his own area. Riot ensues. Thankfully, the local police team were in the tournament so were already on hand!

West Ham v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

West Ham make wholesale changes from the starting XI that defeated Bolton 3-0 in the Carabao Cup this week.

They also make three changes from side that drew 0-0 at West Brom last weekend with striker Andy Carroll, who did not appear in midweek, back on the bench.

James Collins and Pedro Obiang also make way. Forward Marko Arnautovic starts, having come on as a substitute against the Baggies.

Tottenham also make eight changes from the side that defeated Barnsley 1-0 in the Carabao Cup in midweek, although only two changes from the side that drew 0-0 against Swansea last weekend.

Wing-back Serge Aurier and midfielder Ben Davies come in for Kieran Trippier and Son Heung-min.

    Everton v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

    Phil McNulty
    BBC Sport chief football writer

When Everton released a 62-second video clip on 9 July announcing Wayne Rooney's return after 13 years, optimism levels at Goodison Park were scaling heights unheard of in years.

And yet, despite a routine win over Championship strugglers Sunderland in the Carabao Cup, Everton are in the Premier League's bottom three before Saturday's meeting with Bournemouth at Goodison Park.

So is this just a case of transition for an expensively reconstructed squad or does Koeman face deeper worries - and what has caused these early concerns?

    Everton v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

People expecting fourth place is ridiculous but the problem Ronald Koeman has got is when you spend £148m or whatever, regardless of net spend, there’s a level of expectancy. Davy Klaasen, Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson all do the same job.

From what I heard, they put all their eggs in one basket thinking they were going to sign Olivier Giroud. They lost 30 goals in Romelu Lukaku and I think you're to blame if you don't bring in someone able to fill that void. I look at Tammy Abraham, on loan at Swansea from Chelsea, or Charlie Austin on Southampton's bench.

Koeman will turn it around though.

    Everton v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is pushing for a first league start since August after scoring twice in the EFL Cup win over Sunderland.

Out-of-favour striker Oumar Niasse could also make a first Premier League outing for Everton in 16 months.

Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings will be unavailable for at least a month because of a back injury.

Junior Stanislas could feature after making his first appearance since May in the League Cup win over Brighton.

What is the most remarkable thing you've ever seen on a football pitch?

I’m an Ipswich Town fan and I was at our home game where Billy Sharp played for Doncaster against us a few days after the tragic loss of his son. When he scored the whole stadium gave him a standing ovation, made me incredibly proud to be an Ipswich fan seeing everyone realise there’s more to life than football and give him the respect he deserved.
