  1. goal

GOAL - Swansea 1-1 Watfordpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Tammy Abraham (56 mins)

Swansea are level through the substitute. Just like the Watford goal in the first half, some poor defending plays its part. A cross from the left isn't cleared, Wilfried Bony has two goes at a shot and, when the second is saved, Tammy Abraham is there to poke in the leveller.

  2. goal

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Crystal Palacepublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Raheem Sterling (52 mins)

Pep Guardiola clearly wanted more from his side and it looks like he's got it as Manchester City double their advantage.

Leroy Sane, who got the opener, provides the assist as he crosses from the left and Raheem Sterling finishes first time.

    Too easy.

    Southampton 0-1 Manchester United

Southampton have started the second period well. A couple of corners, one of which causes trouble in the United box. Ball bounces around, off at least one United player, with the arriving Oriel Romeu stabbing wide.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Huddersfield

A shot on target! The first of the game I believe as Tom Ince feeds Laurent Depoitre on the edge of the box but the Huddersfield striker places his effort too close to Nick Pope. Comfortable save in the end.

That is way too easy. He picks it up from 40 yards out. He gets to Ashley Williams and Leighton Baines and they don't challenge him. A free run and hit. It was like shooting practice.

The fact Everton don't have a central focal point to aim for is a real downfall. Their confidence is starting to drain.

    Joshua King (48 mins)

Perfect start to the second half for Bournemouth as they go ahead!

Joshua King gets the ball midway inside the Everton half, charges forward and, after evading one challenge, sticks a low shot into the bottom corner.

    Bad times for Everton.

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

The break has given the Everton medical staff time to properly sort Wayne Rooney's eye injury out and he looks in much better shape now. He also appears calmer as he has a laugh and a joke with one of the Bournemouth players before play gets back under way.

A strong contender for last on Match of the Day?

Not been a great watch so far but Huddersfield fans will be relatively pleased given the way Burnley have started this season.

    Long way to go yet.

  14. Hennessey heckled... before City find a way throughpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Man City 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Chants of "Leroy, Leroy, Leroy" echoed around the Etihad Stadium after Leroy Sane finally made the breakthrough for Manchester City just before the break, but there has not been much else for the home fans to shout about - and for all City's possession (69%) and pressure, you would hardly say that goal had been coming.

When the opposition keeper is being heckled for taking too long over goal-kicks, which was the treatment Wayne Hennessey was getting for most of the first half, you know things are not going to plan for Pep Guardiola's side.

Hennessey had not been seriously tested before Sane beat him with what was only City's third shot on target - and while Palace are yet to hit the target at all (that Ruben Loftus-Cheek shot against the post does not count) this has not been anything like the one-sided match that many people predicted.

  15. 'Encouragement for Palace'published at 15:59 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Manchester City 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Jonathan Overend
    BBC Radio 5 live

Rather than gifting goals away, as they have done all season, Palace have been very organised, dangerous on the counter-attack and made City produce a moment of magic to make the breakthrough.

Sane and Silva combined superbly and the crowd were purring at not just Sane's finish but his wonderful touch to control Silva's lofted through ball.

Massive blow for Palace late in the half but they should take confidence from another improved display so far under Roy Hodgson.

  16. 'Must do better'published at 15:58 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Swansea 0-1 Watford

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

If I was a Swansea fan I'd be unhappy - they have not played well in the first-half, routine passes going astray, very little goal threat until late in the half and a dreadful back-pass from Alfie Mawson almost gifted Andre Gray a second goal just before half-time. Must do better but well played Watford who are currently heading for their third Premier League away win in a row.

Crystal Palace may be losing but they put in a very credible performance in the first half.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek had a couple of very decent chances and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was clearly not impressed, despite Leroy Sane's fine goal, as he gave a seat next to him a fair old whack as the half-time whistle went.

Palace certainly not out of this one.

Manchester United look fantastically organised and they have not been put under pressure by Southampton at all.

Every time they get the ball on the break they look dangerous.
