    Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Oh my!

Mamadou Sakho is making his first Premier League start for Crystal Palace but almost had an absolute nightmare as the defender clipped a Kevin de Bruyne cross onto his own post.

It was almost an own goal right out of the Frank Sinclair collection.

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

It's been one-way traffic in the opening 10 minutes, in terms of possession.

Swansea are just starting to find their feet, though.

Jordan Ayew tries to find Wilfried Bony in the box once again but the move breaks down.

    Stoke City 0-1 Chelsea

Stoke have had plenty of the ball since going behind, but haven't created much. They are being shut out by a blue wall. Three centre-halves, wing-backs tucking in. Corner from the Stoke right, cleared by the battling N'Golo Kante.

    Burnley 0-0 Huddersfield

Burnley are based in Lancashire, Huddersfield in Yorkshire but this is as close to a derby the Terriers will get in the Premier League. There's 25 miles between the two sides and the game certainly has the atmosphere of a derby game but not quite the oomph just yet. Cagey start.

Would you say Everton are new into money? Yes. But Everton is all about building over the next four or five years regardless of how much they spend. That doesn't always translate into top four but Everton's priority this season is definitely top six.

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Four successive Premier League defeats for Everton before this game. Needless to say, the Toffees will be desperate for an early goal. They have the chance to get that as Dominic Calvert-Lewin rises to meet a cross - free header - but he puts it just wide.

Penalty shout at St Mary's. Dusan Tadic goes down and the home fans want a spot-kick. Tadic is still limping when Henrikh Mkhitaryan has a shot at the other end. It turns out Tadic wasn't even in the box when he was challenged by Nemanja Matic, so there's nothing to see here.

Man City have 13 wins in 14 games against PalaceImage source, .

Manchester City tend to dominate this fixture and at this stadium, things tend to get very ugly for Crystal Palace.

In five visits they are 16-1 down on aggregate. So they concede over three goals on average here and score 0.2.

They have not beaten City away from home since 1990. With all this considered, as well as the fact they can't score a goal in the league, hats off to their fans who travel here with even a crumb of hope.

    Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Christian Benteke is going to have his work cut out for him this afternoon. Not only is he probably going to have very few opportunities, he is also going to have plenty of Manchester City players for company.

He's operating as a lone striker and steals possession midway inside the City half but as soon as he turns towards the home side's goal he's surrounded by four City players. Chance gone.

Is Morata allowed to score with his feet rather than his head?

His movement is perfection for a centre-forward. I'm not saying he is a better player than Diego Costa but his movement is much better.

    Alvaro Morata (2 mins)

Good lord, this already looks like being a long afternoon for Stoke City. They are behind before the ref has even finished blowing for kick-off, undone by the simplest of moves. One long ball over the top, over the defence, Alvaro Morata simply has to run on and finish past Jack Butland. Awful from the home side.

If Sergio Aguero does the biz and breaks the Manchester City scoring record today then I am sad to say that City fans will not be able to rush out to buy a t-shirt saying 'I was there'.

According to staff I spoke to in the club's megastore, they will be doing one when he breaks the record, but it will probably take a week or so to hit the shelves.

Any Aguero merchandise is pretty thin on the ground in-store from what I could see - just one t-shirt, and not a mention of THAT title-winning goal against QPR in sight.

Worry not, though, if Aguero bags a hat-trick and you have £50 to spare then you can buy yourself an Aguero men's grooming kit to mark the occasion.

Much has been made about Crystal Palace and the fact they are yet to register a goal.

But the stats arguably show they are not exactly incapable of launching attacks. If we look at how many shots teams have had this season - including attempts which are blocked - the Eagles are joint seventh in the standings.

Swansea have had only 30 and sit bottom of the pile, with Everton one place better off on 42.

No Nathaniel Chalobah for Watford today, which is a blow because he's been one of their star performers so far. But Etienne Capoue is a more than capable replacement, having started all but one of Watford's Premier League games last season and scored seven goals in the process.

Watford have won both of their away games in the top flight this season, while Swansea have lost both of theirs at home.

It is safe to say that - the travelling Palace fans apart, obviously - most people inside the Etihad Stadium are hoping to see Sergio Aguero get the hat-trick he needs to beat Eric Brook's record of 177 goals and become Manchester City's all-time leading scorer.

Among those who would love to be able to say 'I was there' is Rachel Jackson, who is over from Bangor in Northern Ireland to see her first City game, with her dad, Jonathan.

Aguero is Rachel's favourite player, and she told BBC Sport: "He's fantastic - he scores lots of goals, all of the time. This is my first match and I would be very happy if I saw him break the record."

Dad Jonathan, who is originally from Manchester and is a former season-ticket holder, says: "We flew here this morning and we have only just managed to get here because we had a three-hour delay.

"We are both very tired but hopefully it will be worth it - it would be great to see Sergio do it today - finger's crossed he does."

I don't think there are many players who can do what Diego Costa can do, so of course Chelsea will miss that.

He is an exceptional player but I don't think his movement is as good as Alvaro Morata, so Chelsea will gain something and they will lose something.
