    Leicester 2-3 Liverpool

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare: "I am struggling to digest it myself. You come in and contribute to another fabulous game of football but ultimately came away with nothing.

"Penalties are there and players have missed them before. Jamie will be gutted himself because wwe ould have come away with the points.

"Disappointing thing for me was at 2-1 down we conceded a third goal. It was a difficult game for us - it ebbed and flowed but we go away disappointed."

  3. 'We are still here'published at 19:50 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

    Leicester 2-3 Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC Sport: "It is not a time to be completely cool but overall I was happy with our performance. The boys deserved the three points. The free kick for the first goal was not a free-kick and it was a foul on Simon [for the second goal].

"At the start of the second half we played the same football like Leicester - kinda hectic. Simon saved the penalty and then I think we really deserved the win.

"I really thought in a moment like this so many things are positive. The three points are the proof for the public that we are still here, everything is good. Let's make the next step together."

On Coutinho: "Nobody was in doubt about this. It is clear he is the highest quality player. We are happy to have him around."

  4. 'A big step forward'published at 19:42 British Summer Time 23 September 2017

"You know when you play Leicester there will always be long balls. We showed character to get through the game and I think this is a big step forward."
