It's a bit scrappy now with both sides losing the ball in midfield. A few frustrated shouts from the home fans. Their side is not testing the Liverpool defence enough.

It doesn't take long to become a manager under pressure in the Premier League. The Foxes have just one win so far in the league this season and failure to get something from this might leave Craig Shakespeare feeling a little nervous.

Still, Liverpool are two goals to the good but one for Leicester before the break would make for a very interesting second half.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare is a frustrated man. He is complaining to fourth official Bobby Madley about some of the decisions by referee Anthony Taylor. He has even tried to recruit Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to back up his complaint at one point. I do not think the German is willing to back him at this stage with his side two goals to the good.

Liverpool come forward again as Alberto Moreno charges down the left. His shot is deflected behind for a corner, from which Dejan Lovren's header is saved. The visitors are looking comfortable at the moment.

Harry Maguire has been superb for Leicester since joining from Hull City... but this is a moment he'll want to forget quickly.

The defender doesn't realise Mohamed Salah is behind him for a moment and the Liverpool forward pounces, almost getting away on goal but a last ditch challenge by Maguire knocks Salah off his stride.

Desalegn Hailemariam: If I die from a heart attack, Mo Salah is the prime suspect. Game after game he misses a sitter before he puts one away.

Ahmer Murad: Salah makes mistakes, but he works hard, tracks back, and, more often than not, he makes up for them.

Johnny Magrinho: And that is why Barcelona were happy to pay so much money for Coutinho. That is a world class cross. Insane vision & accuracy.

Leicester players look to be having second thoughts about their initial gameplan and, having started well, they are having to withstand some Liverpool pressure now.

Alberto Moreno wins Liverpool free-kick in a dangerous position as his break towards goal is ended by Wilfred Ndidi, who picks up a yellow card as a result.

Free kick, 25 yards from goal and fairly central.

Twenty minutes in and Liverpool dominating the possession statistics. The visitors are good value for their lead, despite a nervous defence.

I don't think Jurgen Klopp will rest easy until Liverpool are three goals clear as Simon Mignolet almost gifts the hosts an equaliser.

Under pressure from Jamie Vardy, Mignolet panics and hits the ball straight to Shinji Okazaki but his shot is deflected behind for a Leicester corner.

Big let off for Liverpool.

Salah actually heads it from a really acute angle. So much so that I don't think Schmeichel thought he would have got there but it was an inch perfect header.

Patient play by Liverpool. A good strike from Can. Salah had the goal at his mercy, but it wasn't a difficult chance and he should of scored.

Big miss!

Better from Liverpool as they get their foot on the ball and patiently build an attack. Eventually the ball is worked to Emre Can on the edge of the area and his low drive beets the keeper, smacks back off the base of the post and Mohamed Salah stabs wide with an open goal in front of him.

Ahmer: Lovren's brain was about 10 seconds behind the play and his body was 10 seconds behind that.

Joel Ike Ikechi: Alex Oxlade will make a better rightback than Joe Gomez. And i think Klopp needs to start thinking about switching to back 3.

Leicester's pace on the counter is already looking a real danger for Liverpool.

The visitors win the game's first corner but Philippe Coutinho's delivery is claimed by Kasper Schmeichel and the Leicester keeper bowls the ball straight out for Marc Albrighton. The winger tries to play in Jamie Vardy but gets his cross all wrong and it sails over the bar.

It was a tight angle for Mahrez but he's capable of putting that away. Should have been 1-0.

What a chance for Leicester!

Dejan Lovren plays Jamie Vardy on side and the striker scampers on to Shinji Okazaki's clipped ball. Vardy gets into the area, his shot at the near post is batted away by Simon Mignolet but straight to Riyad Mahrez, whose first-time effort is over the bar.

Leicester's gameplan is clear. They are looking to rattle the Liverpool defence straight from the off.
