Kyle: Really good shot for the second goal but a world class goalkeeper would save it.

Dennis Ethan: Too late to bring on Adrian for Joe Hart?

Johnny Magrinho: How awful are West Ham? Aspirations to be a big club yet find themselves struggling against newly promoted sides. Shambles.

    West Ham 0-2 Brighton

West Ham haven't been afraid to cross the ball into the box so far but it has been to little effect.

Are they missing a certain target man up front?

I don't think West Ham deserve to go in 2-0 down. They haven't been brilliant but it is harsh.

It is backs to the wall type stuff from Brighton.

I can't help but feel Joe Hart should stop this.

He got a full hand to it and could do better. He has got that much of his hand on the ball that he has got to save it.

    Would you believe it!

Brighton weather a West Ham onslaught before doubling their lead with a wonderful striker by Jose Izquierdo who bends the ball from outside the area beyond a diving Joe Hart.

Moments earlier Hart had made a fine save to deny Glenn Murray a second goal.

    This is superb by Brighton.

At the other end Shane Duffy gets his body in the way to block Javier Hernandez's goal-bound shot.

    Duffy has been excellent.

Dale Stephens and Davy Propper are good footballers in central midfield for Brighton but they are too negative at the minute by playing the ball backwards.

    West Ham 0-1 Brighton

Brighton appear to have weathered that sustained spell of home pressure. Just one shot on target for West Ham with 10 minutes of the first half remaining.

It's all a little scrappy but Chris Hughton will be delighted with the way his players have performed. Hughton's last top-flight away win? Four years ago when he was in charge of Norwich at West Brom.

There's a long way to go before he can start celebrating at London Stadium.
