That was absolutely fantastic play by Eden Hazard in midfield. He took out two or three players then.

His link-up play with Alvaro Morata has been good so far.

What an open game we have! Watford go up one end through Richarlison, Gary Cahill sliding in to block his thunderous shot.

Then Chelsea look to exploit the space left behind by the Hornets defence. Alvaro Morata picks out Cesc Fabregas in a postcode of his own, the ex-Barcelona midfielder only having Heurelho Gomes to beat.

Fabregas dinks, Gomes stands, Watford survive.

It definitely wasn't a corner Pat. No wonder the travelling Watford fans are singing 'you don't know what you're doing' to the officials. Chelsea, on the other hand, don't care.

Now, can the Blues keep a lead today?

That was a fantastic goal. I am pretty convinced it shouldn't have been a corner but Watford turned off.

Chelsea played it short and it was a fabulous strike by Pedro. It's a routine that has been used again and again.

Chelsea have started to find their groove now, Cesc Fabregas is seeing more of the ball as the home side are enjoying more position.

Antonio Conte is already on the touchline, barking out orders as his mop-top is whipped around by the wind.

Chelsea go long towards the right flank, Cesar Azpilicueta chasing after it like with more enthusiasm than a playful Spaniel.

Jose Holebas is forced to concede a corner, Alvaro Morata stretches to reach a clipped cross, but his size 10s are not long enough to get a meaningful touch.

Watford have started very well. They are passing it much more comfortably than Chelsea at the moment.

Watford look to have more swagger than Liam Gallagher. As you were for the Hornets who are knocking the ball confidently as they go on the front foot. Roberto Pereyra plays a neat one-two with Troy Deeney, crossing into the box which Chelsea clear for a corner. The Blues defence deals with that set-piece and look to go forward themselves...

Alvaro Morata was offside and he was in that position for three or four seconds beforehand which is unusual for him.

He times his runs very well usually. He looks fit again though.

Bright and breezy at the Bridge. And I'm not talking about the weather. Chelsea fashion their first half chance, Cesar Azpilicueta swinging in a cross from the right towards Alvaro Morata, Hornets defender Christian Kabasele diving in front of the Spaniard to boot clear. Oh, Morata was offside anyway.

Richarlison, in true Brazilian style, loves running with the ball at his feet. The Watford attacker goes direct inside the first minute, Antonio Rudiger timing a sliding challenge to perfection in the Blues box.

One last huddle for the Watford players as Troy Deeney rallies his troops for the final time before kick-off.
