Should a British manager be given a chance at Everton?

It's always time for a British manager to be given a chance as far as I am concerned. There's not enough of us.

Everton would tempt you though wouldn't it?

I don't think so. I'm not considering anything at the moment, I'm enjoying myself.

For Sean [Dyche] he has got to decide when he’s going to move on.

The Eagles have failed to score in any of their last four away league matches at Spurs since a 1-1 draw in December 2004 (D1 L3); their only Premier League win at Spurs came in November 1997, winning 1-0 courtesy of a Neil Shipperley goal.

Pep Guardiola has praised Raheem Sterling's desire to improve his goal return and warned forwards will only "survive" by finding the net regularly.

Sterling, 22, has 10 goals in all competitions this season, double his return at the same stage in 2016-17.

Spaniard Guardiola still believes Sterling must improve his final ball but what do the stats say about his season so far?

Can he do it on a sunny, if chilly, Sunday lunchtime?

After their devastating performance against Real Madrid, is there a danger that Tottenham will arrive at Wembley a little underwhelmed by the prospect of playing Crystal Palace? Roy Hodgson will certainly hope so, but it seems unlikely.

Even if Spurs can't quite recreate the quality of Wednesday night, it's hard to overstate just how bad Palace have been away from home, since long before Hodgson took charge.

They have lost their last seven Premier League away games without so much as scoring a goal - they were also thumped at Bristol City in the EFL Cup in late October.

A win at Wembley - where Hodgson enjoyed a fine record as England manager - would be a major surprise.

    Danny Murphy
    Former Liverpool midfielder on MOTD

David Moyes is a very experienced manager. He'll get them a lot harder to beat that's for sure.

Some of West Ham's defensive play and willingness to do the right thing was very bad. The first goal for Liverpool is just a simple goal. It's the basics.

Just when you think you've seen it all in football, David Moyes is made favourite for another Premier League job!

Surely West Ham won't approach the man who consigned Sunderland to a relegation battle in mid August last year?

The man who has been sacked by Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland inside four years?

    Apparently so...

Or am I being unfair? Is he the safe pair of hands the club need?

  20. 'Bilic looks dejected'published at 10:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    West Ham 1-4 Liverpool

    Sam Allardyce
    Former England manager on MOTD

Nothing would surprise me because there were rumours around not long ago that Slaven Bilic had two or three games to save his job.

There was no contract extension in the summer. At the end of the day they have backed Slaven with the different players they brought in and spent a considerable amount of money.

I think the players have lost their way and he looks so dejected.
