  1. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace have got Spurs on the ropes here as they force a corner moments after a great ball in to the middle is hacked away. From the corner Scott Dann is left free at the far post and Paulo Gazzaniga keeps it out!

You've got to score when you're on top. Palace have had the three best chances.

Where is Gazzanigga's starting position there? He's so deep but he needs to be further forward so he can come and collect that type of ball over the top. As it is he gets caught in no-man's-land. Zaha goes round him, all of the goal to aim at and he'll be absolutely gutted to have screwed it wide. What a chance for Crystal Palace!

Manchester City v Arsenal (14:15 GMT)

David Silva and Kyle Walker return to the Manchester City team, with Gabriel Jesus on the bench once more.

It looks like Arsenal have gone for a back four as they start with no out and out striker. Alex Iwobi and Francis Coquelin come in.

    Full team news to come.

    Wilfried ZahaImage source, Reuters

That's my fault for praising him! Paulo Gazzaniga gets caught out and Crystal Palace should score! Serge Aurier gives it away on halfway again, Andros Townsend sends Wilfried Zaha in on goal with a lovely pass and Gazzaniga is neither one thing or the other.

He ends up out of his area, unable to make a challenge, Zaha goes past him and has an open goal - PUTS IT WIDE!

Zaha has been strong, physical and stood his ground against a lot of pressure from the Tottenham defence. He's certainly not flaky like some say. I've been really impressed with him so far today.

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Paulo Gazzaniga started this game with to be expected nerves but he's playing well now, coming with authority to claim in a crowded area.

  7. Postpublished at 52 mins

Better, incisive stuff down the right as Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko combine, Sissoko's return ball is a good one but it's turned away. Corner ball.

An excellent save from Gazzaniga to get soft hands on it and see it round the post so that it doesn't rebound back to Zaha. It would have been a simple tap-in so it's a really, really good save.

  9. Postpublished at 51 mins

Spurs are seven points behind Manchester City as it stands. Dropping points here would be a blow.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 47 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Gareth Southgate must be watching this game through his fingers. Dele Alli has already been pulled out of the England squad, Harry Winks has gone off and Harry Kane rolled his ankle in the first 45.

Andros Townsend nearly scores! Poor pass from Serge Aurier, Townsend picks the ball up and runs, firing in low and Paulo Gazzaniga turns it clear.

Manchester City have a pre-match presentation planned for striker Sergio Aguero after he broke the club's goalscoring record against Napoli on Wednesday.

The club are refusing to say precisely what it involves, although there is a rumour it might involve a relative of Eric Brook, whose 177 goals Aguero has now overtaken.

There will be an acknowledgement also of the three City players - Phil Foden, Joel Latibeaudiere and Curtis Anderson, who were involved in the England Under-17s World Cup win in India last month.

  16. Spurs missing Allipublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker, BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

It's been exactly how I imagined it. Tottenham are a bit off the pace and Palace are defending deeply and very well. Their back four have been set and ready and it's been difficult for Spurs to get in between them. They've had width from the full backs but by the time they've got it out there, Palace have been waiting for them.

In these games you need someone breaking into the box and that's what Alli does. He's got the sixth sense to get into the gaps and that's what Spurs have lacked so far today.

In 37 years as a commentator, I can't remember any side starting a season with such a long run of joyously expressive football as Manchester City have. The win in Napoli has reverberated around Europe.

They're breaking records every week. Their next goal will be their 50th of the season. At this rate they could hit 150 in all!

Can they sustain it? Doubtful! Will Arsenal be the team to stop the 14-game winning run? Not if they try and hold out defensively. They don't have good enough holding midfield players to do that.

If they risk bold, attacking football, they can maintain their good record against City. But they'll need Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez fully fired up to do that.
