    Huddersfield 1-0 Brighton

There's a place in every team for a Glenn Murray. The veteran striker is holding the ball up well for Brighton, releasing pressure on the Seagulls' defence, but too often he is all alone up in attack and there's little he can do as the Terriers quickly recover.

Incidentally Murray scored in this fixture at this ground seven years ago. Back then both sides were in League One.

    Tottenham 1-0 Stoke

    Tottenham are knocking.

Son is getting in down the left side time and time again. He wins his side a corner, which Stoke do well to keep out before Mousa Dembele fires a shot from range that Jack Butland keeps out.

I can't quite believe West Brom have not won a game in the league since August.

To end that run on the road looks particularly unlikely given their away form.

A brief break in play allows Kieran Gibbs to get treatment and Paul Clement calls a couple of his men to the touchline in order to offer some guidance.

When things get going again Hal Robson-Kanu has the chance to send Salomon Rondon clear. There's a gap in the defence to feed a pass through but he can't deliver it.

Jay Barnes: Shawcross missed one last weekend but it's a testament to his perseverance that he finally got his own goal.

    Tottenham 1-0 Stoke

Tottenham have settled into their stride now. A goal always helps.

They win a free-kick, 25 yards from goal, following a foul on Dele Alli, that Christian Eriksen curls over the wall and towards the bottom corner, prompting a good save from Jack Butland.

Stoke need to dig in now.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouth

Vital intervention by James Tomkins to deny Jermain Defoe a second.

The Cherries striker is through on goal but hasn't quite got the pace in those ageing legs, allowing Tomkins time to get back and slide in as Defoe shoots at the near post.

That goal was coming. A really good cross into the Stoke box and the deflection up gave Ryan Shawcross no chance at all to clear the ball.

Instead it deflected off him straight into the back of the net.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Brighton

Huddersfield still dominating as they look to add a second that would put them in control of this game. Tom Ince has been a real livewire so far for the Terriers.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Abdoulaye Doucoure doesn't waste many shots.

He is close to giving Watford the lead with a volley from the edge of the box that travels through a number of players and draws a smart save from Nick Pope.

We've had 20 minutes and in total, two touches in the opponents' area.

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Stokepublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

Ryan Shawcross own goal (21 mins)

Spurs are up and running, courtesy of a helping hand (well, head) from Ryan Shawcross.

Son gets in down the left and fires over a powerful cross that deflects off the boot of Kurt Zouma before finding the net off the head of Shawcross.

To be fair, I'm not sure the Stoke defender knew much about it.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouth

Good response by Crystal Palace as Christian Benteke forces Asmir Begovic to save with his knees before Nathan Ake gets in the way of Andros Townsend's goalbound effort.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

After being largely on the back foot for the first 10 minutes, Burnley have hit back well at Turf Moor.

The crowd are getting into it as well. They sense their side are building to something. Or maybe they're just trying to stay warm?

Watford have got great pace in the side. Richarlison has been a great signing and Abdoulaye Doucoure is one of the players of the season so far.

I have been really impressed with the Hornets, and one thing I really like about the club is the feeling around the place and the people who work there. It's a club going in the right direction.

West Brom haven't won since August in the Premier League. I had to double check that because I couldn't quite believe that they are on such a terrible run yet not in the relegation zone.

They are dominating possession in this game but not taking any risks yet.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

    Cracking save!

Heurelho Gomes dives to his left to get a palm to a free-kick from Johann Berg Gudmundsson that is heading for the bottom corner. It keeps the scores level.

Sean Dyche thought it was in. And is gutted when he realises that Gomes has denied his side.

BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Jason Levien, one of Swansea’s American owners, is at the Liberty Stadium today.

I had been told by sources at the club neither he nor co-owner Steve Kaplan would be here until the New Year.

Is Levien's unexpected visit ominous for the Swans' under-pressure head coach Paul Clement?

It is a brilliantly worked goal, the sort of strike a coach loves. They almost celebrate more on the touchline than the players on the pitch! And Defoe doesn't miss from there.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

When I played I used to have good spring and when I played under Graham Taylor for England my job used to be to run to the front post and flick on the corner.

You very rarely see that these days but it was perfectly executed there.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Chris Wood has had a sniff now. Only a feint one. He gathers possession on the edge of the box but has men around him and can only tamely poke a shot into the grasp of Watford's Heurelho Gomes.
