  3. RED CARD FOR HOGGpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Watford 0-3 Huddersfield

    Strange one this!

Huddersfield's Jonathan Hogg is shown a second yellow by ref Michael Oliver after kicking the ankle of Richarlison in an attempt to tackle him.

Looking at the replay, the booking looked harsh.

    Good news Watford fans: It's 10 v 10 now.

Bad news Watford fans: Huddersfield are leading 3-0.

Chelsea are there to be attacked right now, you can see it in the group, they don't have a lot of confidence. Charlie Austin has done pretty well since he came on, you just wonder why he didn't come on sooner?

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

Charlie Austin has literally just walked on the pitch to replace Manolo Gabbiadini and he's forced Thibaut Courtois into a good save!

The Southampton striker was released by Nathan Redmond but Courtois got down low to his left.

The player, who we keep getting told is "West Ham through and through", slots in the spot kick to become even more "through and through".

    Moyes is dancing.*

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

    Oh.

    Oh.

    OH!

Mat Ryan twice saves from Burnley's Scott Arfield inside the box, and then Chris Wood finally beats the Brighton keeper from close range but the striker is offside.

  8. PENALTY TO WEST HAMpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Stoke City 0-0 West Ham

Erik Pieters brings down Manuel Lanzini.

    Big chance for the Hammers.

  9. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle

Alexandre Lacazette really should have stuck that away.

The Frenchman runs in on goal on the right of the area and attempt to chip the ball over the head of keeper Rob Elliot.

    However, he fails.

Mike Blighe: Even if Ashley sells up, it feels like it's gonna take more than a hurried team overhaul to bring us back from the brink this season. Rafa's good but we can't expect him to work miracles!

  11. GOOD SAVE!published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle

Newcastle produce a shot on target - which was decent!

Jacob Murphy is the player responsible after cutting inside from 20 yards and smacking one low which Petr Cech pushes away.

    Surely they can't, can they?

  12. Struggling Southamptonpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger at Stamford Bridge for 5 live Sport

Southampton can't get out of their own half at the moment, that tactical switch has done nothing for them, because whenever they get the ball no one's there to collect it and do something with it. They haven't made an effort to go and get an equaliser yet.

  14. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

No clear-cut chances for either side so far in the second half.

Cesar Azpilicueta has just emulated Willian by sticking an effort high and wide.

  15. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

Brighton defender Dale Stephens is perfectly positioned to clear off the line from James Tarkowski's towering header.

This is still a really decent game, despite what the scoreline suggests.

  16. goal

GOAL - Watford 0-3 Huddersfieldpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Laurent Depoitre

Incredible. Not the goal, but the scoreline.

More truly woeful defending from the Hornets.

They lose possession in midfield and allow Tom Ince to surge forward. Jose Holebas' attempt to tackle him fails miserably - the loose ball is picked up by Laurent Depoitre who fires in low from eight yards.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Burnley

Brighton are on the charge again.

Anthony Knockaert, from a tight angle, puts the ball through the legs of Ben Mee but Glenn Murray can't poke it in at the far post. Super close.

  18. Tactical switch for Southamptonpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger at Stamford Bridge for 5 live Sport

Southampton have actually made a change to their team - Nathan Redmond has gone up top with Manolo Gabbiadini - so they're playing more of a 5-3-2 now, which is a little bit more positive.

  19. Postpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

Willian uses some tricky footwork to sail past three, maybe four, Southampton defenders but then he skies his final effort.
