    Fulham 1-1 Bolton

Ah Bolton. Poor Bolton. So close to the psychological boost of clambering off the foot of the table when Tom Cairney struck deep in stoppage time to earn Fulham a point and keep them rooted to the foot.

Sammy Ameobi's goal looked to have secured a special three points for the Trotters, who are at least now unbeaten in three and discovering some form.

As for Fulham, they remain mid-table but they pick up a point after their first defeat in five last time out.

    Sunderland 1-2 Bristol City

Goals from Bobby Reid and Milan Djuric give Bristol City victory at Sunderland.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    QPR 2-1 Wolves

A slightly surprising result at Loftus Road as high-flying Wolves go down at QPR.

They kept Man City out for 120 minutes in midweek, but Conor Washington and Matt Smith breached the visiting defence.

Leo Bonatini kept up his scoring run, but it's not enough.

  4. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Norwich 1-2 Derby

Sam Winnall's late goal separates the sides, but Norwich really should've got something.

The Rams led through David Nugent's strike against the run of play, and Timm Klose's leveller eventually counted for nothing.

  5. goal

GOAL: Fulham 1-1 Boltonpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Tom Cairney (90 mins)

What a way to mark your return to the side, than taking the captain's armband and slamming in a stoppage time equaliser to rescue a point.

Tom Cairney turned in Kevin McDonald's cross and to paraphrase the Spice Girls: surely no points become one.

As for Bolton, they definitely need love like they've never needed love before after that crushing blow.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Cardiff 0-0 Millwall

Not a bore draw by any means and the defences haven't had it all their own way, but it's a day for the goalkeepers.

Cardiff are left frustrated whereas Millwall will be delighted with that point.

  7. Postpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Preston 2-3 Brentford

Plenty of time still left at Deepdale, but it's Brentford who go close to another.

Sergi Canos sees his free-kick ripple the Preston side-netting.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Burton 1-2 Ipswich

Bersant Celina's free-kick spectacular has sealed all the points for Ipswich Town and softened some of the disappointment from last week's derby defeat by Norwich City.

They did it the hard way, coming back from a goal down against a Brewers side that will have fancied a win when Ben Turner looped in a header in the second-half.

However, Martyn Waghorn's leveller, and Celina's moment of magic see Town up to 10th.

As for Burton, they remain in the bottom three.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:50 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Cardiff 0-0 Millwall

It's Lee Tomlin and Jordan Archer involved again - and once again the Millwall keeper comes out on top.

The Cardiff forward is adjudged to have illegally taken the ball out of Archer's hands, before rolling it into the goal.

So instead of giving the Bluebirds a late winner, he's shown a yellow card.

  10. Postpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Cardiff 0-0 Millwall

It seems an obvious thing to say when it's goalless, but keepers Neil Etheridge and Jordan Archer have been in fine form this afternoon.

Millwall's Archer has probably been marginally busier though and denies Cardiff's Lee Tomlin, who takes the ball down neatly and has a go from range.

GOAL: Burton 1-2 Ipswichpublished at 16:46 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Bersant Celina (89 mins)

Well what a wonderful way to win a football match, if you're an Ipswich Town fan that is.

Bersant Celina has made a bit of a habit of spectacular strikes since joining the Tractor Boys on loan from Manchester City and this was no exception.

The Kosovan Albanian was upended by Stephen Warnock, got up, dusted himself down and slammed a peach of a football match past Connor Ripley. 2-1.

    FOUR MINUTES OF ADDED TIME.

  12. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Preston 2-3 Brentford

In this see-saw affair, Preston go close to find a third leveller...

But Brentford's Danish duo Henrik Dalsgaard and Andreas Bjelland combine to keep the ball out of the Bees net.

    Desperate, but effective, defending.

    Sam Winnall (84 mins)

Derby County lead in-form Norwich City once more, and it's striker Sam Winnall with the goal!

    Matt Smith (82 mins)

Perseverance pays off, boys and girls.

QPR's corner comes to nothing but Matt Smith just doesn't give up - and gets his reward when he heads in to put the home side in front.

All of a sudden Wolves have work to do.

  15. goal

GOAL: Preston 2-3 Brentfordpublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Ollie Watkins (69 mins)

Third time lucky for the Bees?

It's a swift counter attack from the visitors, and former Exeter forward Ollie Watkins is there to sweep in Florian Jozefzoon's inch-perfect cross.

  16. goal

GOAL: Reading 0-2 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Britt Assombalonga (74 mins)

Reading have been pressing at the Madejski Stadium, but it's Middlesbrough who have the second and killer goal.

Striker Britt Assombalonga, who won the first-half penalty, now has a strike of his own to make it 2-0 to the visitors.

  17. goal

GOAL: Preston 2-2 Brentfordpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Tom Barkhuizen (67 mins)

The hosts equalise for the second time.

It's not a bad goal either, as Tom Barkhuizen lashes a volley home from just outside the penalty area - into the bottom corner.

Remember, that game is 5-10 minutes behind the rest, so plenty of time for yet more drama.

  18. goal

GOAL: Sunderland 1-2 Bristol Citypublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Milan Djuric (73 mins)

    This one's been coming!

Bristol City have been well on top since the break and substitute Milan Djuric's far-post header has deservedly put the Robins back in front.

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:33 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    QPR 1-1 Wolves

It's off the line... but will Wolves pay the price?

QPR's Conor Washington lobs keeper John Ruddy, but a mixture of Danny Batth and Conor Coady clear off the line.

The problem is, the two visiting defenders have clashed heads in the process - sounds painful.

  20. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Derbypublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 28 October 2017

    Timm Klose (71 mins)

I did warn you Derby fans (see 16:20 BST post).

Marco Stiepermann, who's been at the centre of everything for Norwich crosses for Timm Klose to head in at the back post.

The defender rose above all his competitors and his desire paid off.
