    Georgia 0-1 Wales

Wales are counter-attacking superbly, with Aaron Ramsey the fulcrum of every move. This time he swaps passes with Tom Lawrence and bends in a shot which Giorgi Loria makes a hash of dealing with, Sam Vokes almost has a tap-in but the offside flag is up.

    Hal Robson-Kanu is imminent.

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

For the third time tonight Wales put together some cracking intricate stuff, this time Aaron Ramsey backheeling a volley into the path of Ben Davies, steaming up from left-back. He has to crack it first time and does, but it's blocked by a white shirt. A second Wales goal would ease the tension in Tbilisi.

Wales are not passing it. They are not keeping it. They are just hitting it away!

I think it's time to bring on Hal Robson-Kanu. They can hit balls down the wing and give him something to chase. He can be an outlet.

Wales need to be a little bit more composed. They are one slip of concentration away from making a mistake.

The possession is nearly all Georgian now as Wales sit off and look to counter. Wayne Hennessey hasn't had to make a save yet.

Ireland make three changes from the team which was beaten by Serbia last time out. In come Jeff Hendrick, Daryl Murphy and Callum O'Dowda.

  6. Edwards to come on?published at 18:24 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

Wales have lost their shape a little bit in midfield. I think that is why David Edwards is warming up at the minute.

It might be time for a change. Georgia are just starting to take control of the game.

  7. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

Wales will have to soak up some pressure before the night is out and James Chester does well to cut out a dangerous near-post cross. A few jeers from the home fans as they are slow to build up in their next attack. Will Chris Coleman be looking at changes now?

  8. Do Georgia have anything?published at 18:19 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

That was a good header by Ashley Williams and some strong defending. You are just wondering whether Georgia have anything left in them.

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

Brilliant! Total football from Wales as Sam Vokes almost gets a second. Vokes starts the move by taking the ball down on the edge of the area, Andy King and Aaron Ramsey swap passes before Joe Allen backheels a pass into the path of Vokes. He's wide on the left of the area and tries to lift a shot with the outside of his foot but he's well charged down.

  10. Tom Lawrence joins the partypublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Should we be surprised?

Wales are making a habit of the player on the pitch with the least amount of caps making the biggest impact.

It is Tom Lawrence who has delivered, scoring his first goal for Wales in his ninth appearance. He said pre-match that Gareth Bale being injured was "Wales' worst nightmare," but he's just kept their World Cup dream alive.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 56 mins

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

Six of Tom Lawrence's last 10 goals for club and country have been scored from outside the box. Don't give him space!

Lawrence is now in the book, he's the first to be cautioned and thankfully for Wales he is not one of the seven men a yellow away from a ban.

I don't know if the Republic lads are watching this in Dublin. Surely?

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

The 'please don't take me home refrain' is heard as clear as a bell now in the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena. Catchy.

Tom Lawrence is full of beans now, beating his man on the left wing and bending a low shot just wide.

The fans have come alive again.

They have been a little bit jittery tonight but that goal has woken them up.

  15. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Georgia 0-1 Wales

That was only Wales' second shot on target all night, and a wonderful solo effort. The reverse angle suggests that keeper Giorgi Loria should have done better - but it was a really clean strike. Plenty of power.

  16. 'The keeper had no chance!'published at 18:11 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

Wow, what a fantastic strike. Tom Lawrence has actually taken more touches than he needs to and then he smashes it!

The keeper had no chance. I tell you what, that should give Wales some relief. Don't take your foot off the pedal though.

Keep going! Lawrence has played a big part in the last few games for Wales.

GOAL - Georgia 0-1 Walespublished at 49 mins

    Tom Lawrence

    Pick that one out!

Tom Lawrence has his first goal for Wales and it's a cracker! The Derby man picks the ball up about 30 yards from goal, he skips away from a challenge, drives forwards and then cracks a powerful shot across the keeper and in from just outside the area!

What a huge goal that could be in Group D.

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Wales are attacking the end which houses their travelling support now. Aaron Ramsey has a free-kick on the right but it's not the best, Joe Allen keeps the move alive but Ramsey's second cross is too close to the keeper.

Away we go again! Georgia haven't won in this group yet, Wales haven't lost.
