  1. 'Ledley lacking sharpness'published at 17:25 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

Joe Ledley was maybe showing that his sharpness was not quite there then. His awareness was a little bit off.

It's not about the games, it's about the lack of training over the last few months.

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Joe Ledley, one of the six starters for Wales on a booking, chops down his man in midfield and gives referee Jesus Gil Manzano a guilty look. No card. Sam Vokes again shows his defensive prowess with a clearing header.

  3. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Andy King puts in a cross from the right which is plucked from the air before it can reach Sam Vokes. Wales carrying more threat when they attack, that's for sure.

  4. 'Good chance for Wales'published at 17:20 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

The keeper made a meal of it!

He wasn't quite sure with all the players around him but that was a good chance for Wales.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 17 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

A brilliant move from Wales! Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey are involved in some flowing, one-touch stuff, with the ball being lifted over the Georgian defence into the run of Andy King.

The Leicester man is running into the area to meet the ball on the volley, but he's heavily closed down and can only scuff a shot into the pitch. Still, it's going to bounce in until Giorgi Loria gets a hand to it. He did well to push it away from onrushing red shirts too.

  6. 'Need to keep a clean sheet'published at 17:17 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

It's not going to be easy but we have to bide our time. We need to keep a clean sheet and then we will have done our jobs.

We have just lost our shape at the back. We're out of position.

  7. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Georgia are having a bright spell, with Ashley Williams having to head away again after a cross from the right. Since that early Aaron Ramsey chance Wales have failed to really threaten.

  8. 'Too many long balls'published at 17:15 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

Wales are playing too many long balls. As soon as they are being played they are being picked up and headed away by the Georgian defence, Wales are nowhere near them.

  9. Yellow cards - the major subplotpublished at 17:15 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Michael Pearlman
    BBC Wales Sport in Tbilisi

Wales need a win, that much is clear, but the subplot to this game for Chris Coleman is the need to avoid picking up yellow cards.

A whopping seven Wales players are a yellow card away from missing the game with the Republic of Ireland on Monday.

An early foul from Ben Davies, one of the seven, drew audible gasps from Wales' Red Wall of fans.

Luckily, the referee is yet to reach for his pocket.

  10. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

It is more of a back four than a three for Wales tonight. Georgia win a corner which is well headed away by Sam Vokes, with Ashley Williams clearing the second ball away.

  11. 'Wales need to be tight'published at 17:12 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

Their centre-forward is a big lad. He seems a handful and that is something the Welsh players need to keep an eye of.

We have to be tight as a midfield and a back four.

  12. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

This is a very good start from Wales though. The back three are patient in possession and they are looking to find their key players at every turn.

  13. 'Wales look very sharp'published at 17:06 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

    That was great play!

Just his touch lets Aaron Ramsey down. It got caught in his feet and he couldn't direct it properly so just misses the target.

Wales look very sharp so far.

  14. CLOSE!published at 5 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Great chance! Wales should probably be ahead! Tom Lawrence does brilliantly to weave in from the left, he beats two or three defenders and plays in Aaron Ramsey bursting through. The ball is bobbling a touch and he has to hit it first time - but you'd back him to at least hit the target! He shoots wide...

'Vokes needs balls into the box'published at 17:05 British Summer Time 6 October 2017

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

That was a nice early ball in from Joe Allen. That is what Sam Vokes wants. He will need lots of balls coming into the box.

That's how you use him properly.

  16. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

Wales' first attack ends with Joe Allen dinking in a cross which is punched away by Giorgi Loria. Authoritative from the Georgia keeper.

  17. Postpublished at 1 min

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

A very bright start from the hosts as Valerian Gvilia plays a cracking one-two and then plays in Giorgi Kvilitaia behind the Wales defence. He just can't keep it in though.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Georgia 0-0 Wales

There is a minute's silence for Georgian footballer Shota Maminashvili, external, who died last week.

And now away we go! Wales desperately need a win.

Hassan Anfield: Wish all the home nations well. The more we have to represent the less we hear about boring three lions.

Richard: Keep calm and give the ball to Joe Allen.

    Georgia v Wales (17:00 BST)

A bit of anthem overlap. The backing track cuts out, the Wales fans and players continue for another verse a capella, with the Georgia anthem kicking in over the top.

As usual when it comes to anthems, that's 1-0 to Wales.
