Dani Alves should go off for kicking out like that - it was accidental from Livermore.

  3. Postpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2017

    England 0-0 Brazil

Jake Livermore catches Dani Alves and he doesn't like it, the PSG man kicking out but not really connecting with Livermore. Silly from such an experienced player.

    England 0-0 Brazil

Joe Hart's best save of the night as Brazil come out swinging, Neymar finds a pocket of space in front of the England defence and he pokes it through to Dani Alves, but Hart saves well. The pass should have come left!

Dave W: All very well giving up & coming players a chance in friendlies, but it means the main squad only get to play together in tournaments. We all know how they end up. Exit QF or group stage

Daniel Maycock: I'm being cruel to be kind to England. Brazil learnt a harsh lesson when Germany beat them 7-1 at home in the World Cup. I think we need something similar to wake us up. Simply because the England side do not look capable of getting through the Group Stages

Paulx34x: Should do long ball. We need a tall strong forward to head down to our midfield.

  8. CLOSE!published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2017

    Wales 0-0 Panama

And so nearly the opener for Panama! Gabriel Torres does well to break through into the area, he pokes the ball past Danny Ward but captain Chris Gunter does brilliantly to slide in and clear on the line.

Getting a bit niggly in Cardiff as the visitors pile into Ben Woodburn after a late tackle. In the aftermath Armando Cooper is booked.

Come on England. Too much moaning here, let's have some positive. I like what Southgate is doing, a young manager for a change, blooding young players. Get behind the man and get behind the team. Surely we haven't yet turned into a negative and pessimistic nation of whingers?

    Geoff Wp. West Country.

Martin O'Neill has thrown on Wes Hoolahan and Aiden McGeady and is going for ti, as he has to. Ireland need three goals and you can follow the final 30 minutes here.

Chris Brown: Am I watching a different match to everyone else? I think England are doing a great job. They’ve not let Brazil through and they’ve had some good spells of possession. Not bad for a B-team playing the A-team of A-teams.

  13. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2017

    England 0-0 Brazil

Pragmatic from Chrissy Waddle, but he's right isn't he? If this was a World CUp quarter-final it would be so far, so OK.

  14. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2017

    England 0-0 Brazil

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

A lot of the work during the week would have been about defensive organisation. It's a great exercise because this is a fantastic Brazil side.

If England open up, lose 4-0, what will the texters say? Brazil are a better side, you can't go toe to toe with certain teams, and if people think they can, they're daft.

  16. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2017

Lively start to the second period from Wales. Tom Bradshaw senses a chance as the ball is played across the six-yard box but the danger is snuffed out by a defender.

I'm sure we'll all agree on those, won't we?
