    Wales 0-0 Panama

Ethan Ampadu may not be old enough to vote but he's old enough to put in a proper old-school reducer in midfield and get his name in the book.

David Brooks is the Wales out ball and he pops up on the right with ball at feet, he has men in the middle but rather panics and ends up just pumping a cross into the side-netting.

Neymar is on the ball a lot in these early stages, he weaves past and away from Eric Dier, twice, but Dier sticks at it and gets a toe on the ball. Ruben Loftus-Cheek picks it up but he can't connect with a team-mate. No time on the ball.

A huge cheer goes up as Neymar gets on the ball within sight of the England goal. Plenty of Brazil followers in tonight.

Jamie Vardy then shows his pace down the right but that comes to nothing. It was Vardy who caught Dani Alves early on.

This has been an encouraging start from Wales, with the young trio of Ethan Ampadu, David Brooks and Ben Woodburn already combining well.

According to Chris Coleman and his players, the pain of missing out on the World Cup is still raw.

But for those at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight, the sight of these youngsters making such a confident start will be easing that anguish.

Joe Hart with the ball at his feet outside the area, not sure that's his strength and he ends up having to kick into the stands. Pep Guardiola must be shaking his head.
