A mix-up between visiting goalkeeper Marigona Zani and Lavdie Begoli got them underway. The impressive pair of Fiona Brown and Claire Emslie both scored, with Jane Ross and Lisa Evans also getting in on the act.

    Hibernian 1-0 Hearts

Hearts are suddenly piling on the pressure and Cole Stockton should do better than misfire his shot at the far post.

But it rebounds into the path of Isma and he too is unable to find a good purchase on the ball to threaten goal.

    St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County

It's been quite a bruising contest at McDiarmid Park for Ross County.

Thomas Mikkelsen played on with a head bandage after taking a sore one and was eventually substituted.

Now County goalkeeper Scott Fox limps off to be replaced by Aaron McCarey.

    Hibernian 1-0 Hearts

Just as I said Hearts weren't creating anything, Isma's chip into the box following a corner finds Christophe Berra, but the big Scotland centre-half can't get enough power on the header and goalkeeper Ofir Marciano holds comfortably.

    Hibernian 1-0 Hearts

Euan Henderson's first Hearts start comes to an end as the 17-year-old winger is replaced with Cole Stockton.

That's three up front now for the visitors, but they still can't create any pressure never mind chances.

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Partick Thistle

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland in Hamilton

No improvement in the quality of this match I'm sorry to report. It really has been dire stuff, with neither keeper having to work particularly hard. Miles Storey has just hit the bar, but it was with a wayward cross.

Almost an opener in Hamilton, but it would've been a fluke.

Miles Storey gets away on Thistle's right and his cross drops on to the crossbar before Hamilton get the ball to safety.

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

St Johnstone looking a lot livelier in the second period with two glorious opportunities in the space of a minute. Paul Paton’s header is brilliantly save by Fox then Aaron Comrie fires wide when he had clear sight of goal just eight yards out.

County have brought on Craig Curran for the ineffective Thomas Mikkelsen up front.
