  19. HALF-TIME Hibernian 1-0 Heartspublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 24 October 2017

Hibs are only a goal ahead, but they are miles in front in terms of quality.

Fluent and dangerous where Hearts are stodgy and ungainly, the only surprise is that they have failed to build on Simon Murray's opener after three minutes.

Manager Craig Levein said there were plenty of players in his side who were "Hearts minded" and knew how important are Edinburgh derbies.

Well, the weight of expectation appears to have given them lead boots in that first 45 minutes.

Dylan McGeouch's fine chip sends Martin Boyle clear behind the Hearts defence.

Goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin blocks, but it falls invitingly for Steven Whittaker only for the Scotland right-back to send his curling effort from 18 yards over the crossbar.
