So far in this second half, Sheffield United just haven't made enough of a breakthrough but they've got goal machine Leon Clarke in their attacking arsenal.

Surely Chris Wilder's side can get something out of this game? They have just under half an hour of normal time remaining to find at least a goal.

Jota, who had just gone into the book for a foul, has somehow managed to dribble the ball along the line, avoiding conceding a goal kick and delivers a ball into the box but it's too strong and Sheffield United clear their lines.

Good stuff from the visitors, there.

Not a great deal happening so far in this second half, but David Stockdale's just been told to move the ball back to take a free-kick.

Kinda sums things up so far. Now watch it all kick off now I've said that as nine goals are scored in the next four minutes..

Sunderland were triumphant under ex-Wales manager Chris Coleman for the first time, with late goals from James Vaughan and George Honeyman at Burton lifting the Black Cats off the bottom of the Championship table.

Coleman told BBC Newcastle: "The game plan was always to take the game to them. That is what made the game so open.

"Had we not won the game, I think we would have been unlucky because we had enough chances.

"It's a great win for us today, I was pleased with many aspects of our performance but we have a lot of hard work to do. But there are good signs.

"Every game that we go into, until we are out of trouble, until it is mathematically impossible for us to be back into trouble, all games are the same as today in my eyes - we must complete, must perform, must get a result. They are the games we are faced with, the situation we are in.

"What we have done today is get a little foot in a hole where we can stand still, stop sliding. When you do that you can start inching forward."

Hull City surrendered a 2-0 to lose 3-2 at home to Bristol City, a defeat that leaves Tigers boss Leonid Slutsky without a win in six matches and facing mounting pressure to keep his job.

Slutsky told BBC Radio Humberside: "If we had a level for frustration, it is the maximum level right now.

"We controlled the game, but didn't control set-pieces today and we lose so much because we lost the set-pieces.

When asked about his future at Hull City: "I don't know. Now it's really a very painful time for me and I can't talk about the future and my job.

"It is a normal situation, we haven't won in our last six matches. It is a normal to change coach in this situation, but it will be his (owner Assem Allam's) decision."

While we're at the break, let's get a bit more reaction from the 15:00 GMT games.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Birmingham City

And that's the first half over and done with and as a Wolves fan, I'm riding on the crest of a very big wave with how this has panned out and let me tell you, that feels weird to say.

Jeremie Boga thundering the ball into the onion bag has put Birmingham City on top at the break and it's neuralised a threatening Sheffield United.

When Chris Wilder's Blades have trailed at half-time so far this season they have won once but lost six. Can Birmingham pull off a shock win here?

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Birmingham City

It could be 2-0 to Birmingham City to be honest. An unmarked Lukas Jutkiewicz marches into the box and should have squared it but instead he tries to go it alone and his effort on goal is blocked.

    What a waste!

  11. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Birmingham City

Bit of context to that Birmingham opener, it's only their second goal in their last seven games.

I'll be honest guys, I wasn't expecting Blues to take the lead or in quite such a way!

    'AVE IT!

Jeremie Boga, take a bow son. That's an absolutely stunning goal. After a Birmingham City corner is cleared by the hosts, it falls to Boga who unleashes a furious shot from an angle, outside the box.

Boga's last goal that he scored was for Granada against Barcelona. Well now you can tick Sheffield United off the list too, buddy.

Birmingham are not out of this. They're knocking the ball about well in the centre of the park and they almost find a breakthrough against the Sheffield United back line.

Lukas Jutkiewicz almost plays himself through goal but he knocks it out of play.

    Promising stuff from the visitors.

    FT: Wolves 5-1 Bolton

Wolves put five past Bolton to go seven points clear at the top of the Championship. Both managers, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo and Bolton's Phil Parkinson watched the second half from the stands after arguing pitch side just before the break.

Wolves boss Nuno told BBC WM: "It was a good performance and good result. They were fantastic goals and we had a good atmosphere with our fans behind the team. It is our job as a team to make the fans enjoy every day. I'm very, very happy.

On being sent to the stands: "I think that it is something that happens every week in football, a tackle that I think is tough. I reacted to it and it is nothing more than that. The referee stepped in, he thought we should go out. He did his job.

"I spoke to Phil, Bolton's manager, and we had a good conversation. So that is nothing that doesn't normally happen in football."

Chris Basham sends a curling ball into the box towards Billy Sharp at the far post, but it narrowly evades him.

It's calmed down a bit here but Sheffield United look the most likely to score.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Birmingham City

Birmingham City midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld is shown a yellow card for barging into John Fleck.

But on a positive note, he had his arm around him like they're pals so it's all good, I suppose.

Wow how have Sheffield United not taken the lead, there?!

John Fleck plays a rolling ball from the left wing into the box towards the onrushing Leon Clarke who tries his luck from just by the penalty spot, but he fires wide of the mark.

    A chance gone begging, there.

Big chance for Sheffield United, who are settling into this game now, as John Lundstram fires from well outside the box and forces a fantastic save from Birmingham City keeper David Stockdale.

The hosts win a free-kick on the left wing and it's delivered into the box by John Fleck.

It falls to John Lundstram who fires a powerful shot on goal but Harlee Dean throws himself in front of it to block the ball.

Tremendous defending by the Birmingham man.

Maikel Kieftenbeld is left with the ball and acres of space as he gallops like a mighty steed into the Sheffield United box.

But this horse meets a dead end as he loses the ball without so much as a whimper. Disappointing. A rare Blues goal would have spiced this game up a bit!
