Switzerland have missed three or four gilt-edged chances and that's what we want. We have had a different display to what we saw on Thursday and I think Michael O'Neill will be delighted with 45 minutes to go to do something.

Switzerland should be a couple up. I think the overall play we have had though we have got into some really good positions and that's something we didn't have the other night.

It is 0-0 on the night, but if Switzerland had a decent centre-forward that would not be the case.

Haris Seferovic missed two clear headers in that first half. And I mean missed. As in, he didn't even make contact with the ball.

Northern Ireland could be out of this. Switzerland had the chances in that half to bury them.

But Michael O'Neill's side have dug in and remain firmly in the tie. They've been better than in Belfast.

However, the big question remains; can they score?

Again, for a moment Switzerland look to be through, but the flag is up, moments before Granit Xhaka scoops his shot high over the bar.

It's absolutely chucking it down again.

That'll make things easier down there on the pitch.

For a second, it looks as though Xherdan Shaqiri is away. But much to the Stoke player's annoyance the flag goes up for offside. He was as well. Went too early to collect Haris Seferovic's pass.

Simon Charbonnet: Stop complaining about the pitch! It seems caused by something called rain, which the British Isles has been used to since time began!

It never rains in Britain Simon. We barely ever even see clouds.

If Christopher Walken was here tonight he'd be delighted. The cow bells are getting a good airing.

They are almost silenced as Stuart Dallas' cross loops towards goal, but Yann Sommer positions himself well to snatch it out of the air.

Switzerland are actually the highest ranked team in these play-offs. That shows the size of the task. In 11th they sit above Italy and the others.

So far so good for the 1,900 Northern Ireland fans, though there might be more of them inside the stadium as there are pockets of green dotted all over the place.

This is a different Northern Ireland to the Thursday night model. Credit to Michael O’Neill for the positive changes he’s made and to Michael McGovern, who’s made two excellent saves. Shame they didn’t play like this at Windsor Park.

We are riding our luck.

They have had four or five chances and not taken any.

Another chance for Zuber. Doesn't even get close to testing McGovern this time, though, as he slices his effort from the edge of the box well wide of the target.

One of those evenings for the Swiss? Northern Ireland sure hope so.

Great save McGovern!

It is brilliant football from Switzerland to open Northern Ireland up as Haris Seferovic finds Steven Zuber in the box and while his low shot is on target, it fails to find the net thanks to the boot of the away keeper.
