Tom West: Great movement from Brewster. Stepped up for the big moments again. Another hat-trick, kid's on fire!

David McNaught: Just working out if Rhian Brewster can make it back to Anfield for the Huddersfield game Sat, & then return for the Final.

OutlawTeddy: Another Hat-trick for Brewster! Future is looking good for him!

    England 3-1 Brazil

Well, Brazil might be the ones needing a route back into the game, but it's England who look more like adding to their tally.

Substitute Emile Smith Rowe does well to get a shot off, but that's narrowly over.

    England 3-1 Brazil

Surely that's enough to take England through?

But if there is one team in world football you would not write off, it's Brazil.

That said, they've conceded more goals in this semi-final then they have all tournament.

Owen Ryan: Get Brewster up top with Mane & Salah... Pure pace!

Dave Dixon: Watching the England U17 boys from Perth, Western Australia. Come on lads! Get Gomes on Please!

Alex: Need more double-barrelled surnames in the senior side, main difference with these successful youth sides.

  5. 'Brilliant, brilliant goal'published at 14:07 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

That is a brilliant, brilliant goal, Brewster will get all the headlines but Foden's play is absolutely outstanding, good overlap, fantastic cross and what a composed finish. The team spirit and camaraderie is brilliant.

GOAL - England 3-1 Brazilpublished at 76 mins

    Rhian Brewster (76 mins)

Incredible! Rhian Brewster, take a bow, but that is a fantastic delivery from Philip Foden.

The Manchester City winger puts it on a plate for Brewster, but you have to be in the right place to score goals, and Liverpool striker Brewster does just that - a second successive hat-trick in this tournament!

    England 2-1 Brazil

    We're having another cooling break.

It's roasting out in Kolkata, 29 degrees today, and Fifa has brought in the idea of water breaks for players at this level. A good shout, too.

I'm hoping my colleagues at BBC Towers might want to adopt something similar - tea break anyone? Mine's milk, no sugar...

Ted Edmondson: We've got Latibeaudiere & Adarabioyo at Man City but Pep persists with Mangala & trying to buy another CB. Depressing.

Max: What do the FA do to players between youth teams and the senior team? The senior team are never this good to watch.

Tony Ruddy: If you're good enough you're old enough. This is why we need more English players in the Premier League.

    England 2-1 Brazil

Timothy Eyoma is no stranger to international football at this level - he played every game in the European Championships except the final and has just got into Tottenham's Under-23s team - at the age of 17.

The Spurs youngster isn't looking to sit back though. He chases a pass into the Brazil box, but it comes off the full-back for a goal kick.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

    Twenty minutes to go.

Can England hold out? They're going to throw on more fresh legs.

Steven Sessegnon makes way, Tottenham's Timothy Eyoma is the man to come on.

CTID: I'm older than a lot of the England U17s - I'm at home eating cereal & watching TV, they’re winning a World Cup semi-final.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 68 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

    Change for England.

A good stint from Morgan Gibbs White and he's replaced by Arsenal man Emile Smith Rowe for the Young Lions.

  13. 'England have to sit in'published at 13:56 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

The game is stretched now and England are going in with only ones and twos. When you are playing against teams like Brazil they have the ability to pass through you. England have to sit in, there is no point going when you are not going in units.

  14. CLOSE!published at 67 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

    That pressure is building...

There's no let up from Brazil at the minute, they go left this time and it's a dangerous ball whipped into the area where Lincoln is lurking.

Free header for the striker, but he nods wide.

Kenny Rea: Forget about pushing for a club place, get them in the squad for Russia '18! Have to be better than our current senior side!

Nishant: McEachran and Foden have looked different class.

    England 2-1 Brazil

England can't afford to take their foot off the gas here.

Paulinho makes a yard for himself and drives and effort in from the edge of the box with very little back lift - the kind of effort you used to see from compatriot Adriano in his prime.

It's straight at Curtis Anderson, though. The Manchester City goalkeeper deals with that.

  17. 'Foden really impressing'published at 13:53 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

Phil Foden is really impressing with that check inside, it takes defenders out of the game and he has close control.

  18. Postpublished at 63 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

    Philip Foden has impressed today.

He cuts on to his right foot and forces Gabriel Brazao to save, but moments later it's Curtis Anderson having to palm one away!

End-to-end stuff, and every time England go close, Brazil look to counter.

  19. Postpublished at 61 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

I tell you what, these Brazilian centre-backs might be seeing Rhian Brewster in their nightmares tonight.

He's got pace to burn, and runs the line well before being muscled out.

A nuisance, my old coach would say.

  20. Postpublished at 60 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

That's a bit more of a patient build-up from Brazil.

The South Americans work it through Alan to the right of the box where Brenner is lurking. He fizzes in a fierce effort and it takes a deflection en route to goal - good, solid palm away by Curtis Anderson to keep that one out.
