    England 2-1 Brazil

Here they go again, Steve Cooper's side.

Morgan Gibbs-White gallops clear and drives into the Brazil area, but Wesley recovers to stop the forward's low delivery.

    England 2-1 Brazil

Three minutes added on in this first half.

No chance of England looking to sit back. Tashan Oakley-Boothe slips a pass out to the right and then the Three Lions work it back to the left and into the space created by Rhian Brewster, who wins a corner.

Gabriel Brazao punches clear this time.

  3. 'Really combative'published at 13:15 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

I feel the shape has helped England, the 4-2-3-1 formation. We have looked really composed. We have been great in the middle of the park, really combative and starting to look really strong with this lead.

    England 2-1 Brazil

That second for the Liverpool striker makes Rhian Brewster the top scorer at the Under-17s World Cup so far, his sixth in the competition.

Five of those have come in the last game and a half... big game player?

  5. 'That's why they get paid all the money'published at 13:12 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

He's got a knack for being in the right place at the right time, Brewster. Can he keep his composure? yes he can. He has not really done a lot in the game but so what? he has scored two goals. That's why they get paid all the money because they know how to score the goals.

  6. Postpublished at 42 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

Curtis Anderson comes flying off his line and just about gets a fist to a low, bouncing ball on the edge of the area.

Heart in your mouth stuff for his manager. England could do with just holding on to this lead until the break...

GOAL - England 2-1 Brazilpublished at 39 mins

    Rhian Brewster (39 mins)

It's that man again! Rhian Brewster finishes off a flowing England move, started by George McEachran on the left.

The Chelsea midfielder wriggles between two tacklers and England spread the ball to the right, with Philip Foden and Steven Sessegnon combing for the overlapping Fulham full-back to deliver a low cross.

Keeper Gabriel Brazao gets a finger tip to it, but Brewster is lurking to rifle home.

  10. 'Let shape dictate'published at 13:07 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

If England want to get back into it they need to keep the ball, keep the pitch nice and big and let their shape dictate the pace of the game. The quality has been outstanding from both sets of players and we have had plenty of adventure. It has been a good game to watch.

    England 1-1 Brazil

A miskick from the Brazilians, an air kick from England - these players look exhausted.

I'm not surprised in that heat after a frantic first half an hour that saw two goals and plenty of chances.

England are growing back into this though. Rhian Brewster always a danger when Steve Cooper's side get the ball forward.

  12. Postpublished at 35 mins

    England 1-1 Brazil

Clever, composed play from George McEachran in the England midfield. Turning defence into attack with a smart swivel on half-way.

Philip Foden looks to beat his man in the box, but the Manchester City youngster can't quite get the ball out of his feet.

And that means Brazil can break... they go left to Alan, but Joel Latibeaudiere does superbly to hold the danger man up and allow his side to regroup.

Robbie Kahar: the young lad #Brewster, external is a talent.

Adam Clowes: Brazil are turning up the heat, some great football played. England just couldn’t hold on.

    England 1-1 Brazil

And now Brazil go straight down the other end and nearly take the lead!

Chances for both sides within a matter of seconds.

Wesley fancies his chances from long-range, that's ambitious, but his low drive is fumbled by Curtis Anderson before the Manchester City goalkeeper snaffles it up at the second attempt.

  15. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

    England 1-1 Brazil

    England go close again.

To be fair, each time they've gone forward the Young Lions have looked like scoring.

A corner this time, headed wide by Joel Latibeaudiere. That wasn't far away.

  16. Postpublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    England 1-1 Brazil

I'll definitely call George McEachran 'Josh' again today at some point... Josh being his older brother, of course.

  17. 'Seen them given'published at 12:56 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

That challenge from Paulinho on McEachran could have been a penalty, I've seen them given. Paulinho has ended up injuring himself.

  18. Postpublished at 25 mins

    England 1-1 Brazil

Right then, how can England respond?

They've got a moment to catch their breath as Paulinho goes down clutching his ankle. The referee is signalling for the trainer, I think...

It did look like the Brazil man fouled George McEachran, not the other way round.

    Time for a water break.
