  1. 'Latibeaudiere has led by example'published at 13:48 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

You can tell Latibeaudiere is captain of this side, he has led by example, he has not lost a challenge and is always there when a cross comes in.

    England 2-1 Brazil

Lots of talk about young players not being given a chance at first-team level but Morgan Gibbs-White made his Wolves debut at 16 and has appeared 12 times for them.

The winger looks to fizz a cross in from the right-hand side, but it's charged down by the Brazil defence.

They can break too. But who's that covering? The skipper, Joel Latibeaudiere. He's been superb.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

That's good defensive work from Callum Hudson-Odoi, too.

The 16-year-old works back to the win the ball off Vitao on the touchline and England attempt to create another attack, before Rhian Brewster is brought down.

Another foul. This time Brenner finds himself in the book as he slices George McEachran on the opposite wing.

  4. CLOSE!published at 54 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

Chance for a hat-trick for Rhian Brewster.

Callum Hudson-Odoi picks the Liverpool striker out at the back post, but the teenager can't quite keep his header down and Brazil survive.

    England starting to dominate.

  5. 'England look a solid team'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

At the moment Brazil look like a collection of individuals and England look a solid team. I really like how England probe and then don't get frustrated when it doesn't come to something. They keep the ball and it is very difficult to defend against.

  6. Postpublished at 53 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

Philip Foden has already been talked up by Pep Guardiola, and you can see why.

He brings the ball down with an inch-perfect touch and turn all in the same movement. England are applying a bit of pressure now, but Callum Hudson-Odoi is caught offside.

    England 2-1 Brazil

I said England don't need an invitation, well nor does Brazil midfielder Marcos Antonio.

He squeezes in an effort from way outside the box, and Curtis Anderson tips it over the bar.

  9. 'Foden & Sessegnon excellent'published at 13:38 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

    Trevor Sinclair
    Ex-England and Man City winger

I think Pep was astounded by Foden's ability at Manchester City. I think he has the perfect partner in Sessegnon down the right, that trigger as to when to make the movement. They have been excellent all evening.

Sean Brookes: An entertaining first half. If England stay positive and keep attacking there are more goals for them.

Rob Howard: Why can't Chelsea give youth a go????

Jeremy Orbell: Fab seeing England do well - let's hope these youngsters won't have the confidence beaten out of them by media & negative fans.

  11. Postpublished at 49 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

Sloppy from Brazil so far in this second half.

A few simple passes going astray already. England don't need any invitation to attack, but they get one signed and stamped and it's Rhian Brewster who pulls out to the right this time.

The South Americans don't look comfortable heading back towards their own goal, and the Liverpool striker's low cross is hoofed away for a corner.

  12. Postpublished at 47 mins

    England 2-1 Brazil

Victor Bobsin gives it away for Brazil in the centre of the park and that gives England a chance to break.

They look right for the speed and skill of Manchester City winger Philip Foden and he goes charging into the area, before being closed out by a swarm of yellow shirts.

    England 2-1 Brazil

Tottenham's 17-year-old Lambeth-born midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe is one player to have earned some first-team experience - he replaced Dele Alli as a late substitute in the Carabao Cup win over Barnsley, external at Wembley last month and was also on the bench against Burnley.

Angel Gomes is another. The Manchester United youngster is on the bench today, but made his first-team bow for the Red Devils when he came on for Wayne Rooney back in May.

And Steven Sessegnon has impressed for Fulham too, playing twice in the Carabao Cup this season.
