    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Richarlison is up there with the signings of the summer isn't he, and the Brazilian again goes close for Watford. This time he drifts past a defender and hits an early curling shot which drifts across goal.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Chelsea

The best thing about this game is the atmosphere, which is very, very good indeed. Can I suggest that there aren't many better sets of home fans in the Premier League without upsetting everyone else?

  3. FA Cup latestpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

Woking have equalised against Peterborough. Not such good news for fellow non league side AFC Fylde as they have gone behind at League One Wigan, they trail 1-0. Forest Green have taken the lead against Exeter City. Tonight's other game - Yeovil v Port Vale is currently goalless.

  4. CLOSE!published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

A shot of sorts for the home crowd to get excited about as Timothy Fosu-Mensah comes forward and hits a low drive well wide from 25 yards. What's his best position?

There was some talk that he would be the long-term successor to Michael Carrick but he's playing at right-back.

The other right-back, Daryl Janmaat, threatend a second goal as he plays a one-two and gets into the area but he's tackled in the end and the ball squirts wide.

Alphonse Rawlinson: Can't help thinking the Bakayako discussion centres around Chelsea's bizarre transfer policy. Why buy Bakayako for nearly £40m and sell Chalobah?

  7. Conte beware ruthless Chelseapublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Chelsea

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the John Smith's Stadium

Antonio Conte made the point on Saturday that Chelsea could not regard themselves as being in the title race if they had lost four games out of their first 16 in the Premier League.

Worth nothing the last Blues manager who lost that many was Jose Mourinho two years ago. He got sacked.

Andre Villas-Boas was also sacked after losing four games before Christmas and whilst Carlo Ancelotti saw the season out when he lost four by this stage, he was replaced by the start of the next campaign.

Still no chances of note. Scrappy start.

There's four FA Cup replays tonight and non-league Woking have taken the lead at League One Peterborough courtesy of Inih Effiong's strike which you can watch below.

Chelsea have got to be patient, Huddersfield have 11 men behind the ball.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Stoke well on top, Turf Moor a bit subdued. Peter Crouch finds Xherdan Shaqiri, he plays a lovely reverse pass into the run of Mame Diouf, his shot deflects up into the side-netting.

That Stoke front three are playing well. Diouf has been used as a wing-back at times but he's right up top tonight.

There has been little in the way of a reaction from Palace to that very early goal.

Richarlison is down in a heap, he was clattered by his own man! Abdoulaye Doucoure wins the header but hammers the Brazilian in the process. The physio is on.

I wonder why Allardyce hasn’t received more criticism for leaving Palace in the lurch at the end of the season - they’ve not recovered since.

Weather affected? Not great from Jack Butland as the Stoke keeper spills a routine looking cross from the left, he's lucky to get away with that.

Gareth Southgate is in the stands though. Marked in the jotter.

Give Bakayoko a chance to settle in, I remember Ramires getting similar comments when he first joined and he didn't turn out too bad at all.
