Dean Whitehead is on at the break for Huddersfield, he replaces Jonathan Hogg. Rolling back the years.

  2. Postpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

Stuart - I don't want to be accused of talking up such a move but yes, Richarlison certainly looks like he can go up a level or two, with all due respect to the Hornets.

His cross for the goal was absolutely brilliant.

Storm Jarvis May: RE: Name that Man (20.18). Is that the famous "Bally McBallface?" I didn't realize Stoke got his signature in the window. Very good signing if it is.

What are the odds Richarlison won’t be at Watford next season, or even by the end of January?!

57 minutes in and no shot on target for Burnley. This has been a poor showing.

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Loud, frustrated jeers from the Burnley crowd as Darren Fletcher easily cuts out a rushed pass in midfield. The Clarets just haven't performed so far.

  8. How long?published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the John Smith's Stadium

Huddersfield have hardly been in this game.

There certainly seems no chance of a victory.

The last time they did that in the league against Chelsea was 1962. To put that into context, JFK was president, Harold Macmillan was Prime Minister and Neil Armstrong's moon landing was seven years away.

  9. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Mame Diouf bulldozes into the Burnley area but he's called back for handball. This game needs a bit of quality, or a catastrophic error, to break the deadlock.

  10. 'A tough watch'published at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It's been a tough watch from a Huddersfield perspective. They've offered very little, that's probably an understatement. It's 2-0 and probably more than likely, that's it. Stick another one up front and have a little bit of ambition. Get these fans off their feet.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

Free-kick, into the wall, and that's half time.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Back under way at a now very, very windy Turf Moor.

  14. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Palace playing like it's the 90th minute, not the 45th. They have a free-kick which is cleared and Watford have a three-on-two.

Richarlison again is the man carrying the threat and his cross is almost perfect. Just cut out.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

And it's almost instantly three. Chelsea carve through again, the Terriers can't deal with Eden Hazard and he plays in Pedro, but this time Jonas Lossl makes himself big and saves well.

It's difficult to make a case for anything other than Chelsea being two up. Huddersfield have offered very little. It's been a performance where they've been watching and letting Chelsea play. I can understand why you would want to stay in the game but there's been nothing from Huddersfield.

    Willian (43 mins)

Soft goal, David Wagner won't like this, you don't want to be conceding to a header from Willian!

Chelsea work it well though. Pedro finds Marcos Alonso on the left, his cross is measured and Willian is all alone to head down and in, the bounce beating Jonas Lossl.

It's a foot wide, Bakayoko has his head in his hands. He knows he should have probably scored that. It's a good header, he's seen all of the ball but not got quite enough direction on it. Unlucky.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Ironic cheers as Wilfried Zaha wins a free-kick, and it almost brings about the equaliser. Yohan Cabaye fizzes the ball near post, Luka Milivojevic heads it on and it is deflected into the side-netting.

  20. CLOSE!published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-1 Chelsea

Almost two! That man Tiemoue Bakayoko again, winning a header from Willian's fine ball in but drifting it a yard or two wide.

Jonas Lossl had no chance. It all came from Eden Hazard being fouled on the right. He's a class above.
