    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Corner to Atletico as Sergio Ramos scrambles a cross out of play. Atleti send the big men forward, but Kiko Casilla can punch the corner clear.

Real counter - Cristiano Ronaldo might be in, but Juanfran steps across him to win the ball. Great defending.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 0-0 AC Milan

    Napoli should be ahead.

Lorenzo Insigne's delivery to the back stick is perfect, Jose Callejon rises to meet it with his head, but Gianluigi Donnarumma parries away.

But what about Allan in the middle? Callejon might well have found him open and with a clear shot on goal had he chosen to nod down and into the midfielder's path instead.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Luka Modric has a go from 25 yards but it's straight at Diego Godin. Real Madrid probably look more like the home team at the moment.

  4. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Good play from Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo flicks the ball through to Isco, whose cross is to nobody. Real eventually win a corner, but Atletico break from it - with the ball ending up with Real keeper Kiko Casilla.

  5. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Atletico defender Lucas Hernandez, whose brother Theo plays for Real, goes down after minimal contact from Dani Carvajal.

There hasn't really been a chance to discuss since Angel Correa missed that huge opportunity early on.

  6. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 0-0 AC Milan

Lorenzo Insigne darts inside from the flank, all jinking ankles and dipping shoulders. There's no way through, so he puts a foot on it and turns back into possession.

Mario Rui then drops a brilliant nutmeg on another ex-Liverpool AC Milan player, attacking midfielder Suso. That one will bruise the ego.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Neither of these sides are high on confidence. Marcelo's cross is cleared, then Atletico make a bit of a mess and Toni Kroos then controls it out of play.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 0-0 AC Milan

Fabio Borini scythes down the galloping Napoli left-back Mario Rui with a real striker's challenge. Ex-Liverpool man Borini goes straight in the book.

Jorginho will deliver the free-kick into the box, and Franck Kessie rises to clear.

  9. Postpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 0-0 AC Milan

Fierce whistles and jeers from the home faithful as AC Milan look to ease themselves into what should be a rather feisty fixture.

No real action yet. Probably the worst thing is that Napoli are playing in black when they're at home. Why not their usual light blue? Milan are in their white away strip.

  10. Postpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

HUGE chance for Atletico to take a third-minute lead.

Real are shocking defensively, first Marcelo passes the ball to Antoine Griezmann, then two team-mates get in each other's way and then Real defender Raphael Varane plays Angel Correa in on goal but the Argentine shoots just from the edge of the box. Should have scored.

Karim Benzema - only two goals all season - barges Juanfran over as the Atletico defender guides the ball out of play. Rash.

AC Milan have underachieved this season. 'What's new there?' you might think.

Eighth, 10th, seventh, sixth have been their last four Serie A finishing positions.

They are seventh - but so much more had been expected following their summer spending spree - which apparently reached £210m.

And according to the New York Times,, external they are "seeking new investors or a refinancing of the high-interest loan that Li Yonghong took to buy the club".

Napoli have been one of Europe's top entertainers this season - with 10 wins and two draws from their opening 12 games - including 32 goals.

Dries Mertens is into double figures in the league for the season, hitting 10 goals so far. Lorenzo Insigne, an unused substitute for Italy during the week, has also been in sparkling form.
