    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Toni Kroos to Dani Carvajal to Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Portugal star has his shot blocked. Then Luka Modric also has an effort stopped.

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

Portugal striker Andra Silva came on for Suso just before the break for AC Milan - Suso looked to have picked up a knock.

Silva's first involvement is to come deep and help his side with a nice little flick to retain possession. Promising, but then Fabio Borini is caught offside on the right flank, with the whole Napoli back-line in his view. Pretty poor.

Freddie Caine: can't emphasis how much of a difference Costa should make to this team, no one in football who better fits what Atletico need from a striker, him and Griezmann should be a brilliant foil for each other

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

And we are back under way in Naples too.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Sergio Ramos obviously hasn't recovered from the kick to the head he got in the first half. Nacho replaces him.

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

AC Milan are only the second team to have had no touches in the opposition box in the first half of a Serie A game this season (after Benevento, who did so against Napoli and Juventus).

Rob Bown: Insigne is excellent. How can Milan players argue when it's been proven by video?

  9. Postpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Toni Kroos completed all of his 41 passes in the first half, at least 20 more than any Atletico player (Gabi, 21/26).

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

What an end to the first half - as Lorenzo Insigne waves his arms calling for more after he sees a curling R2 shot palmed away by that man Gianluigi Donnarumma again.

The ref blows his whistle - and is immediately mobbed by Milan players wanting to speak about his reversing the decision to rule out Napoli's goal.

  11. HITS THE POST!published at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

My word Lorenzo Insigne has got serious speed. Pepe Reina booms a clearance up towards the forward - one ball over the top and Insigne is clear on goal - again.

He picks his spot, Gianluigi Donnarumma is beaten and it crashes back off the post...

But the offside flag is up - again. It's really late - again, but it's the right decision this time.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

It's not been terrible. It's not been great.

As things stand, the winners of this game are Barcelona - who would be 10 points above both Madrid sides.

  13. CHANCE!published at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

Brilliant again from Napoli, but matched by Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Milan goal.

Jorginho dinks a delicious through ball into Lorenzo Insigne, who nods back across goal and draws a brave punch from Donnarumma to clear.

The ball falls to Allan, who takes a touch to set himself but, with Donnarumma stranded on the ground, shanks a shot into a defender's legs.

Another let-off for the away side.

  14. Postpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Marcelo's cross hits a couple of Atletico defenders and Saul hacks it clear. Not long until the break.

  15. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

Honestly, what is it about these lot shooting so high over the bar? Is it a kind of mini-game?

Franck Kessie - a repeat offender now - for some reason decides to first-time volley a high ball that tumbles out of the night. I don't even know where that wound up.

  16. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Atletico have a series of corners now. Diego Simeone is going mad on the sidelines. Thomas Partey's corner is complete garbage and is cleared by the first man.

Fairly sure that's not what Simeone was instructing him to do.

  17. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

Five minutes to play until the break in Naples. Will the home side add to their lead?

Jose Callejon and Allan exchange rapid passes down the right flank. The cross comes in and is cleared out to the edge of the box, where Jorginho blazes over. Composure 0.

  19. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, with a new blood-free shirt, comes back onto the pitch with cotton rammed up his nose. He's a hard man to be fair.

  20. Postpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

Isco plays a fantastic ball out to Cristiano Ronaldo on the right. Nobody makes a good run for the Portuguese, who wins a corner.

Sergio Ramos is still getting treatment. He wants to get on the pitch to attack this corner but he's not allowed. Atletico clear.
